yeah, the inability to do anything more than just repair what little you get at the beginning makes this game way too hard. Money is far too tough to get or hang on to.
calling this a stolen idea isn't valid. It's a clone, but that's all.
I'd like to see you come up with a game that isn't based off some other game somewhere.
I'm finding Harder to be about impossible. No matter what you do, you can't find enough food fast enough to keep from losing over half the people you get, and then, the horde attacks and wipes out 5 blocks at a time.
I generally rate a game low if they're asking for real world money in order to take advantage of things...
However, this is an excellent game, and not paying doesn't actually impact your ability to play. it just requires more patience.
Go off and play something else while you're waiting for energy to recharge.
Now, if there's a section of the game which requires more than 100 energy to enter a mission, I might complain about that.
I thought the bug colors meant they were more or less vulnerable to the ladybugs, but I can't actually tell since I can't really see what's going on.
Ladybugs cost far too much and upgrades don't really improve them enough at a time for the cost. If you're forced to go through multiple waves just sitting there watching cause you can't afford to do anything else... that's bad. You should always have enough cash after each wave to do something, even if it's the wrong thing to do.
The 'specials' don't seem to do much except for the +5 life which gets eaten far too fast.
Having some kind of counter to show how much increased money or improved damage would be good.
And either spread the bugs out, or make waves with fewer at a time. spamming the speed button shouldn't be a necessary tactic.
finished the game, turns out it's all an ad for their so called tank MMO.
Also, yes, the bazooka sucks. It's difficult to aim, only does real damage to the single unit you hit, and has a horrible reload time.
I used the shotgun for most of this, which makes no sense as a shotgun vs armored tank is the second most ridiculous idea I've ever heard.
use the arrow keys to do what now? There's no point to this.
And if this is the quality of your games, giving away free games to people who go to your site is charging too much.
flame towers are pointless. They do almost no damage and never light a zombie on fire.
Grenade launchers are almost as bad, firing so slowly they only get off shots at every third zombie to go by. Unless the zombie is really slow in which case, you don't have anything that can really hurt it anyhow.
You really need to add a speed up button for things like Wave 19. I prefer to just take the damage to my health and forget that one. Absolutely nothing you can do will kill them, they're just too powerful for what you can have out.
Limiting the number of times you can upgrade a tower isn't helpful, nor is giving the player very limited places to put towers.
In short, not a bad game, but it needs work.
It also needs something to set it apart from every other TD out there.
Also, as a thought, you might want to let the Instant Kill ability of headshots actually have an effect if you took the "Transfusion" skill. Right now it doesn't add anything to HP.
I'm either insanely unlucky, or the skill "Lucky" isn't working right.
For a 50% chance to find an extra medkit, I haven't found one yet in over 50 searches.
