hah. I am totally stuck and don't know where to go after killing first boss... saw a link in the game description, and got a warning it was an attack page. Guess I won't get to finish this one, because I've searched every square inch of every map I can get to. Ah well.
Too bad missiles don't have guidance systems that can re-target if their target goes down before they get there. They're so darn slow to move and fire.
I used a slightly different approach on last level. 2 rows archers on right, guarded by knights, then ice trap, pit trap, 2 ice traps. Freezing the enemies a lot was great for the archers to pick them off. Used fire/ice spells until out of mana, then switched to gun/cannon until mana was back up. Worked pretty well.
The cross-server battle ground just bugged out on me. I have a black screen... we were winning 4000+ points to < 2000. I'm fairly irritated. Make sure your stupid servers are stable if you're going to introduce cross-server battles.
I love this game. One thing I noticed is that weapon balancing could be better... I have a one-handed weapon that is better than any 2-handed I've found. PLUS I get to use an off-hand item with it! I don't even bother looking at 2-handed weapons anymore because they just can't compete.
The game bugs out during the tutorial, so that I have to reload it before I can continue. Although the game LOOKS pretty, its functionality is aggravating. 3/5... so far. From the other comments I'm reading, this will likely go down.
5/5 Very fun game. It was quite easy to start, and if you hang back and get the "Special" ones first, the game is a breeze until hard "gold leaf" mode. Had to try a couple of them a few times, because I wasn't placing my plants fast enough, or went the wrong way and the crystals became too abundant to beat back.
My flying Santa worm got so big all I could see was his head. It was awesome. the 250+ combo before I got so big I couldn't tell where my enemies were anymore was pretty nice, too. :P
Very fun game, although I seem to have hit my "peak" in power. I made it to past dungeon level 20 once, and have played several times since, and only seem to be able to hit about level 12-14. Still, it's quite enjoyable.
I got stuck at the bottom of a cave I couldn't get back to town in. There was a black raised circle after jumping on a fish, and nothing I could do with it. Couldn't jump back up. Fell through the world, and never died. Was enjoying it up to that point, but can't give it more than 2/5 for being buggy.
The game was way too easy. When I saw only a pixel of your ship counts as your hitspace, I was expecting a much more difficult bullet hell type game. Also the save feature didn't work. I logged in to finish up the last world today, and found the game had not saved. 1/5
