That the game isn't an "official" 9 game with 9 characters and references is irrelevant. The page style has been altered to match the movie promotion and the game challenge (not the current badge) was specifically for Tim Burton-related merch. It's a promo. Get over it.
wtf? There are "9" graphics all over the freakin' page. Of COURSE it's a movie promo. There just happens to be a game here, too. Maybe it wasn't a promo before, but it sure as hell is now.
Love the novel control and movement. More like this. Don't go adding wall jumps and crap like that, just work on a good puzzle/skill combo for better levels.
Oh, and for the love of God DON'T use the drone boat for the last upgrade. I kept intentionally getting hit so I could use my downgraded tank. That's how much it sucks.
For the love of God... no more TD games plz! I got the badges, and it's pretty safe to say this is as good as a TD can get. Pat yourselves on the back, CC, and move on.
Only real problem is that the more "difficult" levels are less about skill and more about luck. Otherwise a definite improvement over the last version.
Biggest problem control-wise is that it takes the shot as soon as you drag outside the Flash box. That forces you to take needlessly difficult shots at times.
Otherwise a solid game. Sure beats the hordes of TD and shooter clones.
Sooo twitchy. Collision detection is extremely unforgiving. The only thing that really detracts, though, is that you can interrupt certain moves too easily. Moving sideways kills a high jump, for example.
That was to bestgamer et al. in case it was ambiguous, not the dev ofc. Fun idea btw. Pretty comprehensive take on things. Nice to have some smarter games around.
Right... he loses points for calling it "swine flu". I suppose you think the rest of the game is completely serious and realistic as well? If so, kindly refrain from voting in the next election.
Just confirming that every level is doable. And the more elegant your solution, the less glitches affect it. Seriously though, I have to make a new bridge for every 2m interval!?
Interesting glitch: it seems that if you drop all but one box/elephant off the screen before the remaining one gets to the end, you win! Works great for #24.
repeater + repeater/crouch works pretty well. (repeater + repeater)/crouch might work too.
Needed: Ability to save setups. Keyboard shortcuts for rotating pieces and using the control switch. Using keyboard shortcut, allow me to rotate a piece *before* I put it down.
Game works great as a draft or proof of concept. I think having only one control switch is great! Forces people to be creative and preserves the awkwardness of early robotics.
