This is very well made but the basic problem is it's Risk, and Risk is a crummy boardgame. Lots of fail states or slog cleaning up to finish an inevitable win.
Cute little game. Quality smoke break length diversion but the amount of praise is a bit dizzying. You put on socks! AWARD! SOCK x 2 combo!! AWARD! Partially dressed! AWARD!!! Award x 3 combo!!!! AWARD!
Easy and over-long but clever. Hint: once you have multiple firing towers hold the shot target close to the castle, which spreads the shots. That's the clever bit, intentional or not. Controlling the locus, not direct target
Shock & Awe's primary weapon can knock enemy ships out of the circle and keep them there. Most (all? not tested) enemy weapons can not penetrate the barrier (nor can Shock's secondary) so it's possible to sit there and slowly chip away with the lightning at no risk to player. Gathering drops does work across the barrier.
"but the graphics is better than some games on those consoles" That's hyberole bordering on crazy. Still, it plays silky-smooth and is a fantastic shooting gallery with well paced advancement. Well done team!
The customization is admirable but most of it is completely pointless. Vast majority of items/upgrades can be skipped. Heck, the bomb key is largely pointless. The game also consistently froze upon winning the fifth mission on hard. There's lots to like here but it feels like the dev crawled a bit up his own nose, tweaking the game exactly to his own desires.
The energy system is fine. Like it or not, the game is not designed to play in big chunks. What the complaint should be is all the traps which encourage new players to waste their precious warbonds--and they recently added more with those terrible "deals". (And tossing up the useless Arctis to waste tons of player energy) Btw, anyone who spends WB/real money to refill their *energy bar* needs to be gently tapped in the head with a brick. It's the by far the worst possible use of them.
For new players, Tyrant 101: Skip Arctis raid. Don't join any of the other raids until you have done most or all core missions. Use your gold to buy gold packs. Don't sell ANY cards. Save your WBs! They're precious and best used for specific cards once you know the game. Never WB a card which can eventually be gotten with gold. There's a wiki which lists all the cards, do a search. I loathe rate up requests but this will mean I can stop telling every new player the same things, so please do so.
Competent game and fun enough. I love vertical shmups. Makes me sad though that EVERY game made these days is pixel art + store/upgrades + collecting [bleep] with a magnet. Getting sleepy.
Nifty game. Division between browse/deck is awkward. Can't see what is in deck on page where you sell cards. Also, fail states are possible so an end/quit battle is needed. More generally, there's not a huge amount of synergy in cards so decks boil down to spamming; needs a little tightening up.
I like awards :))
