giving limited bombs is really, really outrageously stupid when literally the moment after you kill the enemy it just respawns. Also, it's really tough to move for some reason in this game, it results in getting stuck a lot, getting killed by enemies, and running off ledges. It's pretty annoying.
Man, that ended up being way too short in my opinion. What was there was actually pretty god damn sweet on the other hand, so good job with that. Owning dinos with meteorites never stops being awesome.
Way, way, way easy and short. I'm not going to lie, although the content that is there is very good and fun, the whole thing seemed like it was so quick and that there could have been so, so much more that could have been done with it, with so many more interesting level ideas (hell, I didn't even realize the ball bounced until about half way through). the ending was one of those ones where you beat the boss and expect that it must simply be the end of the first level, and you're getting all ready to continue on when you realize that that actually really is the end...and that's disappointing when a game shows this much promise =(
Yeah, not that I'm homophobic or anything, I have nothing against being gay and think that it's as natural and as normal as being born left handed, but I'm pretty much as straight as they come and don't even have any weird fetishes. Yet this game rated me pretty close to bi-curious; now I may not be the absolute manliest man ever, but I'm certainly not bi-curious and have never been aroused by or interested in such thoughts. These ratings are way curved towards being gay, and the questions don't cover nearly enough shit to be calling people gay.
only thing I don't like is how you throw double sockets that lay around at the player without any explaination whatsoever, and all while the clock is ticking, so the player gets to just sit there and try to figure out what the hell they are while quite possibly dying cause they recieved no explaination whatsoever as to how they work. And also as far as I can tell there's no pause button which is very annoying cause you have no option other than to just let yourself die if you have something that you absolutely need to stop for.
I'm not sure why this achieved such a high rating, honestly I found that considering the genre this was a very lacking game. I felt like getting upgrades was pretty much pointless, and there was little reason to attempt to achieve longer distances, as it had no real impact except more chances to grab money. Some of the others are saying it's wrong to compare this to games like toss the turtle, but games like that had pretty much everything this has, and was more fun and better executed.
I have a question here, my smithing is at the absolute maximum, and yet I still have a 0, yes, zero, percent chance of success when smithing the sword called redemption...I'm just wondering how exactly I'm supposed to make this sword in that case. I waited a while to be able to make it, and yet it's still impossible. What's up with that?
Lol, if this really was an april fools joke, then they did a good job of managing to make it fun at the same time. Making a "single match" game is pretty funny after all...
I can't really tell if I'm going crazy here, but what the hell? There only seems to be a level 1, and there doesn't seem to be any use whatsoever for credits. I just keep beating level 1, then it returns me to the exact same briefing I had when I started it and it starts all over again...if that's all the game is, then this is lamesauce, and if it isn't then you need to make it a lot easier to figure out how to do basic actions.
I'm not sure how the original game was but this is absolutely impossible to play. The game moves like it's on crack or something, which not only makes it feel really crappy and hard to control, it also makes it so that making jumps and running into enemies happens so ridiculously fast. It makes it frusterating and unplayable imo, and in it's current form I'm pretty sure that others would agree.
Man, I was hoping for something deep and dark for collecting all those letters. For anyone who's wondering what it says, it says "kind of like metroid"...which it is, but the game is still good either way.
