So, apparently there's a couch in the room. It's impossible to notice until you look at the TV, and then just barely. Seems realistic. I know I'm always losing my couch in my one-room apartment.
Lemme get this straight: a weak Choose-Your-Own-Adventure that tries but fails to be funny, comes close to outright misogyny, takes a weird wingnutty swipe at Obama, and utilizes boring minigames as the entirety of the gameplay gets a 4.0 rating and badges?
I must have missed the companion game where you play an air traffic controller who gets epic bonus points for guiding aircraft into massive bird strikes.
Oh, also, it would be cool if, instead of the flock moving about the viewport, the viewport moved instead. That way, you could keep the same visibility, which I think makes more sense. But I'm not sure how well the controls would work out that way.
A little too easy, IMO. After one attempt at the story mode, I had found all but the black swan and was able to fully upgrade all of the non-restricted adaptations (that is, must be flock leader, must be over water, etc.). I finished the story mode on the second attempt and was able to fully upgrade every adaptation. (Except the black swan's, since I still haven't seen one.)
That said, it's still frustrating for a Fokker to come zooming up behind you and wipe out three-quarters of your flock. It's also annoying to see planes fly through each other. And I'm not sure what about the body of a zeppelin kills birds.
I would just like to observe that this tutorial, which is, other than the last panel, a static slideshow, consumes 90% of the CPU on my Mac. In comparison, a YouTube video consumes about 60%.
Really? That's the first I've ever heard of that issue. I am testing it myself and while the memory does seem higher than other Kongregate items, it's not by a big difference and taking 0% CPU... Can you check to make sure it wasn't something else or give me a full bug report?
Started off pretty good, but towards the end it got to be a lot of "smash things with a crowbar". Definitely good enough for me to check out the previous installments, though.

In my opinion, this sort of puzzle game shouldn't rely on pixel-perfect clicking. Once I've figured out how to solve the puzzle, I shouldn't have to try another dozen times in order to get the timing exactly right. This game fails on this account. Too bad, because it's pretty cool otherwise. (I seem to have missed the previous versions.)
I felt like I was cheating the whole time. I'm not sure I solved any of the puzzles in the "correct" manner. Also, the "paw" seemed to lag behind my cursor in a way that made it really awkward to effectively control.
