The minigames aren't very fun. The campaign has two major flaws: 1) you have to replay all previous levels if you die and 2) you can't sell back guns (but can sell back turrets). 2/5
Entertaining game with some major flaws. You need to be able to respec as the game goes on (as it stands, you have to start over). Morale (particularly in battle 9) is ludicrous. Time for high-end units is too high (almost never worth bringing one out after the very first unit). etc, etc. 3/5
difficulty is way too uneven. some levels in a set are easy (even ch3) and others are nearly impossible. ch3 lvl3 does appear to be impossible - with minimal jumps, you die in the second down bend.
I really wish I could give this game 0/5. The boss abilities are *MUCH* better than anything you get. Multiple stuns (that go off a lot more than the 30% some claim), abilities with faster cast, better effect, and short cooldown, etc.
epic bore is right. I wouldn't touch this if not for the challenge and badges. Get a few upgrades, start level, go do something else for a while, come back, create a few hobbits, win.
Pretty fun game with two exceptions. It is either impossible to get the speed sniper achievement or there is a very very obscure trick to doing the smoking mission (best time doing everything "perfect" is 185 seconds). Tree Friends is just plain annoying - it isn't a puzzle you can solve by looking - instead, it's a "puzzle" you just have to remember after you fail due to shooting the wrong guy in the sequence.
