Level 18 is just stupidly hard. Up until now, it's been a nicely challenging game. I've now failed 18 at least half a dozen times (and leveled 1-2 ranks per failure) and I'm still nowhere near beating it.
Fun game but the ever-increasing experience required per level get really annoying after a while. The difference in effectiveness of level 34 vs 36 is small but it takes forever to get to 37 killing 34s.
This is one of the worst "games" I've ever played. It really is pretty much click next a few times and skip every once in a while. There are no decisions to be made and no tactics to be used.
The first roughly 35 levels are a lot of fun. The levels after that get stupidly difficult. I would have given this 5 stars but it's now down to 2-3 stars...
It would be incredibly helpful if the game actually explained how you get good scores (and stars). The medium badge is nearly impossible (for me anyway) unless you get decent scores. I find the level with two opponents with level 5 barracks with you only having a single fort stupidly more difficult than the previous level.
I suspect score is partly based on time which, to me, it should not be - who cares how long it takes as long as your strategy is sound?
Apparently when it says a specific monster is "sometimes" found on a specific level what it really means is "almost never found". I've spent the last 45 minutes rerunning Highland Falls 3 and no sign of Sweeper Stu.
This could have been a 5-star game. However, requiring spending Pramins (eg real money) for chest keys and for some of the drops turns this into only a 2-3 star game. For example, almost every gear set requires shiny ruby but it seems to be one of the rarest drops (it's not marked as rare but I have only ever found 1 when I have about a dozen of some of the items that are marked as rare).
It's absurdly difficult to get keys. At this point, I have something like 20 chests but have not found even 1 key nor have I earned enough pramin to buy even one key.
Reducing rp costs and stuff in the next update.
