I played the whole thing... but only because logicraft said that 49 was semi-difficult... I disagree... it was way too easy, just like every other level. I like the multiple ways to win thing... but maybe having a nearly limitless number of ways to win is a little too much. Add more restrictions in the later levels... like maybe boxing in a certain area, or something, and take about 1/3rd of the lasers away... that would make the game more challenging.
3/5... the graphics and sound effects and such are all nice. The story is silly but good enough. I didn't encounter any bugs. But it loses big points when you feel like you're not really making progress. The unlockable characters don't seem to really be any better than the original guy, they just have different spells, so you can eventually pick a character that matches your play style. But while the bosses keep getting tougher, you don't seem to at all. The game doesn't really change. And then you're at the final boss, and he obviously has NONE of the restrictions that you do, as in waiting to get out a hoard of men and then attacking. He also can cast blackhole and armageddon every 10 seconds or something. It's crazy. I'm sure he's beatable. But the game doesn't set you up to be ready for that fight. It's like if you were walking a flight of stairs, and all of a sudden the last step is 22 inches high instead of 8. Sure, it's possible, but you're not prepared for it.
Doesn't work for me... I assemble the drill, battery, roller... click on the assembled drill, click on the door, nothing happens... can't click on the door otherwise... tried this in both IE 8 and Chrome...
wow a micro transaction game that is actually worth it! Their top tier is only $5 of real life money... and it's such a simple silly game, but I had a great time playing it and like to support developers where I can. THANKS!
I would really like it if it showed the quest progress just under the current quest... for example..
Quest: Kill three wolves
Progress: 2 of 3 killed.
---or---
Quest: Find the silver goblet
Status: Still looking.
Animals eat you because you are food... meat... good source of protein and fat to keep a desert creature alive...
other than that, I agree that it would be nice if there was more than just white screen... simple concept, follow the sound... would be nice if I could yell hello also to try and get a marco polo effect going on... even if my partner was too stupid to follow my voice to me and it cause the bitey animals to attack more frequently...
last but not least, restrict the mouse to the window or something, allow the tank movement to be completely WASD, and actually shoot the gun at the mouse cursor... as it is, I would end up firing too low, and there seems to be a minimum shot distance
ok, besides all the wacky controls (I've played inverse control games like this before... back in 1998 when mech games were more popular... annoying as hell)... I think you did a decent job... except... there's like 5 crappy, non-descript buildings... and when you're done, then what?... the depth at which rending begins for like grass and things is a bit short... meaning you can see lots of ground, but then all of a sudden grass just kind of appears... I thought it was a bit distracting... also... if I'm in a heavily armored tank, then why can't I push down a palm tree or break through the side of a building?... lots of armor but no power?... And, objective? nothing... which means i don't miss things like upgrades because there's nothing to push me to want something better...
This game is only about half finished... you need more weapon and wall types, maybe defense traps... upgrades for everything... it sounds cliche maybe, but there's a reason that all games add that kind of stuff... because defense games without it are just boring... this one in particular just causes my hand to hurt clicking so rapidly 2/5 (no bugs or anything, and I guess you could call it a finished game, but without polish or a fun factor or something to build toward, it falls flat)
Great concept... I like the block/RPG mix... but I'm only giving you 3/5 because of that crappy glowing background and the sound that is so incredibly annoying... maybe different sounds for different color blocks? maybe a static background that doesn't interfere with my being able to see faded grays? maybe make the ball look a little different as it powers up? ... it's a good start, but the game could use a bit of a spit shine.
so I'm about 15,000 experience from lvl 55... and I notice the quest for returning... and I refresh my browser to try and get the quest... lost 145,000 experience... so now... instead of being at ~150k/165k I'm at ~4k/165k ... for a game that requires you to change your settings to unlimited storage to fix a lag issue, you'd think a little of that space could be used up to offer a better experience saving state between sessions.
We hardly use any space, but when you save often, Flash likes to have unlimited space to use for some reason. Anyway, we've just made autosave more efficient, and next to do is a manual backup save option, which will hopefully solve the problem :D
can you call this something other than an idle game? This game is terribly involved... in no way would I consider it an idle game other than you need to leave your computer on overnight to level... any single instance of user involvement in this game us next to useless, and nearly all of the quests are just grind quests. The game distinctively feels like someone decided to see how far they could get by making a game based off of random number generators. You'll complete the higher end quests if you're lucky enough that the random numbers are generated in your favor, and if they aren't, then you may likely never complete those quests. You'll just keep grinding away hoping to hit and never actually making any progress.
Hello! Thanks for your comment. The only things that are completely randomized are the casino games. The alternative there would be to rig the casino, which wouldn't be fair either. But, you don't have to play any of the games if you'd rather just idle, there are still hats & quests unlocked based on your level :)
controls have been fixed
