Aaargh! I discovered that right click repositioned the camera behind me, which is fine, but it also brings up the Unity Player right click menu, which, if I accidentally let go over it, wipes out my game to go to some stupid unity player screen. Give me control over the camera!!
Not a very good clone. You should be able to drag the gem in the direction you want to swap it, rather than click, release, click. Also, it often misses a click if stuff is still falling when you make it. Finally, you haven't added anything interesting over the dozens of other bejeweled clones out there.
I like this a lot. It has the best control and drift of any of these sorts of games that I have played, and it is clear that skill and planning matters. The twitchy teens who want to play a game where you are at full acceleration all the time and it's all about reactions will be disappointed, and I'm glad for that. I'm still waiting, though, for the game like this which uses the mouse to control the steering wheel. ----- Along the bottom of the screen is the top of the steering wheel, and you 'hold' it with our mouse, giving the real analog feel of a real steering wheel. If you let go of the mouse button, it tends towards straight, just like a real steering wheel, but while you are holding down it stays positioned. Use C and X for accelerate, brake.
A good puzzle. Needs an undo. Also, when you click the selected block, or an empty space that isn't one the selected block can move to, don't unselect. What's the point of that?
Nice! Not a ton of replay value, but a fun diversion. It took me four tries to beat level 3, and I pretty quickly decided that level 4 was hopeless. But it was fun for that amount of time. I usually try to make suggestions for the games I like, but I honestly have none here. The graphics and sound are perfect for the game, and the gameplay is great. It's very simple, but adding anything to try for more replay value would lessen it. Great job.
I'm having the same problem as pierrem, left and right don't seem to do anything. I've tried the regular arrow keys as well as the number keys with num lock both on and off. Giving up now.
Very nice. Simple and beautiful, with some good gameplay. Not terribly challenging, but enough so. I found I wanted more of the levels where there were spotlights moving back and forth and I had to time my movements with them. But I especially liked that there were a variety of play styles all using the same theme, and they all worked.
It doesn't seem as if there is any point to making the zoo interesting, planning the arrangement, or adding decorations. Do they have an effect? I'd want to see a real effect to them, where, for instance, putting the playground near the petting zoo increases its profits, or putting picnic tables near the burger stand. The restrooms should have a "coverage area" and the profitability of anything not covered should start to suffer. etc. There could also be zoological awards to discover, such as if you make a cluster that includes elephant, zebra, giraffe, and lion, you get a "Natural African Savannah" award and it increases the profitability of all of them. Lead the user to the first of these awards, but let him discover the rest.
I saw the same bug after beating it: Just a dialog that says 'Message' and won't go away when I click OK. I really liked the puzzle on the right. The one on the left, I'm still not sure if that's all I was supposed to do, but it was happy. The one in the middle was fine, but too easy, like a dumbed-down sliding block puzzle.
Gaah! Yet another keyboard game where you have to reach for the mouse to move from one level to the next. What's wrong with spacebar or enter or something where my hands already are?
I do find it ironic that Snipe misspells the word grammar as he tells you it could use work. I like the style and the game. One easy thing to improve: Let me enjoy the fruits of my success for a bit! Once I've gotten a floor lit, then I should have to travel to the stairs, so I can enjoy it in the light! The other suggestion I would have is to have different ways that I bring the light to the floors, getting more complex each time. For instance, 2nd floor I need the screwdriver to attach the wires before inserting the circuit breaker. Then I need a wire stripper to prepare the wires, a screwdriver to attach them, and the circuit breaker. etc.
Fun! Interesting approach. My only problem is that it was too easy. I beat all the levels without ever using one of the special abilities. Only 2 times did I have to restart a level, and one of those was because I was fooling around.
