the charm spell in particular seems overpowered (probably confusion as well). most spells/abilities require an investment in stats/items or other support to stay useful and scale up to deal with late game threats. But charm automatically scales with the power of the enemy, and none of them seem immune or resistant to it, and it doesn't need any spellpower at all to be great. It's basically a 4 mana better than instadeath spell.
how do crits work in this game? it feels like they're bypassing protection entirely, which seems a bit unfair to high prot builds (which are fairly weak as is) when you're forced into an autocrit situation (I was just hit with some webbing attacks)
A locked stairs room (where you need to find hte switch) just happened to me, on a level wherein I randomly hit a pit trap. so I fell to a lower level and couldn't get back up since I had no keys and the gate was locked cuz I hadn't hit the switch yet. and it was in one of hte side areas so just going down is a dead end. Need to prevent that happening.
game balance overall feels a bit too biased toward range. once you get the right stuff, you can trivialize many melee enemies; while the ranged and caster enemies remain quite dangerous always. classes with stronger ranged setups seem a lot more reliable to work with, and few enemies have strong gap-closers.
I just died because I was pressing a normal key to move, but there was a trap there, so it fired my staff weapon onto the exploding trap, which I was in range of. I was otherwise in a perfectly safe area so there'd be no reason take the damage; and I wasn't watching closely because normally the not walk into traps things prevents problems. I also had levitation active if it matters. So please fix the bug; it shouldn't auto-fire on a trap that could hit you when you just issue a normal move command (I used the keypad)
it'd be nice if there was an easy to find known bugs list so I know what features/classes to avoid. like right now there's a bug where summon skeleton doesn't always return the mana when it dies.
i don't mind the hitting of obstacles per se, but it's annoying how they often spin you so you're not upright. There's not a lot of useful things to do with direct monitoring of the flight compared to some other games; but I have to watch still in order to avoid getting turned around and wasting the thrust going downward. in the really long/slow late game stages it gets tedious.
while decent enough; it seem sa bit too easy; also, i'm annoyed at how long it takes to "jiggle" through to fill an area. I'm sitting around knowing I've solved it, but have to wait several seconds to get to the next click because it just slowly jiggles along
while it looks cool, I've already encountered things I consider grossly unsatisfactory that completely ruined the experience for me and prevented any fun from occurring. I played once for a half an hour; so I come back a day later and my guys have leveled a jillion times and picked up piles of gold. I was ENJOYING the early stages of the game when progress happens quickly while I watch. I DIDNT want to get piles of offline stuff happening. For many idle games, the early part is the MOST fun for me, because it's when stuff changes frequently. And the system just forced me past the entirety of it with no way to avoid that. It's like playing a game with 50 stages and coming back the next day only to find that you skipped 10 stages and never get to play them, and you'll never be allowed to. it's very frustrating and very annoying. Needs a way to disable progress from occurring while offline, and once that's done it needs a clear/easy way to delete/reset an account.
Offline gold earning is actually a pretty big part of the game, so that you don't feel like you've missed out by having the game closed.
There is no account reset button because we do not offer hard resets of the game, due to continually adding content.
The nature of the game is such that you can go back to any area you want to, to read the quest text. Plus, you will be doing a lot of resets of the world to earn the reset currency of Idols.
very minor request: I'd lke zambino the wise's text to appear faster; I don't like waiting 10 seconds for him to finish his statement when I just wanted to remind myself how many RP it'd take fro the next transcend. (his text displaysd fast durin time warp, but otherwise it's a slow crawl). I shouldn't have to wait for a tooltip just because i'ts dramatic.
getting +upgrade category seems very weak for a diamond box. I just got +5 levels of goblins for instance, which isn't that helpful, even if i'm otherwise at a point where it's hard to upgrade further, that just means it's near time to ragnarok/transcend. it also seems like a pittance compared to +1 permanent goblins, which I got out of a cheaper box.
aww, I didn't realize transcendence also ended lots of other permanent bonuses like perm +skill points. It sure is slow after you come out of transcendence, since most of the bonuses it can give don't kick in for a bit and you don't have any time crystals to tide you over.
coming back after a hiatus of a month or so; while my build was the same, the amount of resources I'm getting is far higher for some reason. especially how fast my hermit levels up when I focus on using study, it's vastly faster for some reason.
I'm not fond of the most recent updates; while I get the incentive for an author; I'd like to actually FINISH one of these games one day. Instead of the authors endlessly addin gnew content until the time it takes to finish (achieve all bonuses/quests) is nigh-impossible because the last ones are set to take years or just no thought out well. I'd like if I could say, play for a month, or maybe a few months, and actually, fully finish the game, instead of it being an endless treadmill with no possible end/accomplishment.
there were some earlier evrsions where it'd be possible to actually finish the content in a reasonable amount of time.
you still need to provide update notes on the kong site. the ingame ones disappear once yhou've read them; people need to be able to refer back to them.
it's annoying when a mystery box gives a bonus to a regular thing and I haven't fully bought upgrades for it. i.e. right now I just got a box with +5 to cursors level; but I could've trivially bought those anyways if I wanted cursors.
Thanks! Yeah that's def up soon on the todo list.
