For everyone wondering what to do with extra gems, it's called gem boosting. Gem boosting uses a gem(s) to increase HP and armor, but increases XP and drops even more. At my level, using a final tier gem makes a material about 20x stronger but killing it gives 13,323x as much XP and about 11,000 of it (before applying double drops). So it can AMAZINGLY increase your mining gains.
As others have mentioned, I finished the PvE content fairly quickly, tried PvP, and have been getting destroyed by players ranked hundreds of points higher than me. No obvious way to get better units other than by paying loads of cash.
Mathematically, there is a 2.2% chance that I could have bought all the hatcheries/territories I've bought since unlocking mutagen and not earned any bonus >:(
Needs balancing. Certain buildings do very little. My assigned population is currently increasing my production by...0.049%. Increasing wages doesn't come close to covering the net loss of coins. The game was good for awhile, but a little math tells me I'll have to wait 43 hours for my next meaningful upgrade...
Wages and academy now provide a % bonus to that resource's production rather than a villager one. Now it can actually add up really nicely late game, however it does NOT increase the coins generated (that would sort of allow you to increase coin production forever). I'm going to keep an eye on the percentages and adjust as appropriate
How does a thegames8 game only have a 1.8 rating? Something finally happen to your hundreds bot accounts?

@ shavera At is so much more than Te because there's a whopping 32 elements between the two on the table that you haven't unlocked yet (52 vs 85). You will often unlock elements that are cheaper to learn than the element you had to learn to unlock them.
Also, just wait until the end. Uuo's average cost per LEVEL is about 7E20...
Just a warning, earning the "shi shi shi shi" achievement (google to find out how) will COMPLETELY CLEAR your current evolution percentage for that life stage. Just lost 92% Gradus...sigh...
