Somehow the game became much easier when I stopped trying to dodge in 2D and started moving most of the time left and right only.

22 spare lives, finished. It becomes a lot easier if you plat it on a slower machine. I intentionally played it on my netbook, had about 13 fps, game becomes less fun, but I have already had fun dying many times before, it was time to get the badge:)).

i see a green bomb falling.oh no a grenade.*dies*ah what the hell,that looked cool!lets do it again!i get directly hit by it and nothing happens,i dont even lose a limb.how do you suppose that one happended?

I think the game needs alot of improvement, like there isnt any balance in it, you need like a ton of lives at the final boss as his bullets are impossible to dodge, i have calculated that it cannot be dodgeable. I also wished there was a different style of controls, I also expected auto fire. I also expected at least your dead body collects a heart or something. There should also be even the slightest increase of invulnerabiliy after you respawn, if not at least clear the screen's bullets.I still do see alot of potential in it, im not asking you to remove the ragdoll feature, as that what makes the game special. Hope you can make Ragdoll Invaders 2 that can add these improvements. Otherwise, its a 2/5 from me

I find funny the fact that the "Hard" badge is Hard, when 6000 players got it.. I've seen Impossible Badges way harder, with 30 000+ players who've got it! But overall a nice game!

Crawling on your back is a pretty good technique: your ragdoll arms will be facing towards the sky and you have some control over your movement.

Happy to defeat the enemy, life-icon drops faster than me swinging my player there. Misses approx. ever heart but cool game anyway. Shooter + Ragdoll seems quite unique in style?

tips: the easiest is the lasers because they might hit the lower parts of the legs or the part of the arms that actually shoot (the ends). the rockets are the hardest because there's a lot of projectiles and there ALL insta-kill. the orbs are insta-kill but there predictable and theirs not a lot of them

Wow, has it been 5 years? Man! And yet, this game still holds up pretty well. It's a little unpolished - no mute button, the music never changes, I have to hold down a button to shoot even though there's no reason not to shoot - but it still has this sort of timeless air. It's a very well executed dodging game, and the fact that enemies drop life adds an interesting dynamic to things. 4/5 I say! A good, fun little time killer. :)

This is like the old LJN NES games, after playing so much you get used to the awful controls. So to only lose like 5-8 lives in each of the later mother spaceships.

I really want that ragdoll's planet to be destroyed. I've had more fun today at my desk working my hectic day job than playing this game. That's generally not a good sign.

I had 9 lives after 31 spaceships, I get to the big spaceship again and sticky keys start acting up and the ragdoll moves super slow. I lose 7 of my lives, beat the big space ship and a random laser gets me right before the large heart...fml

To the people complaining about the controls: The controls are like this is because that's how ragdolls move. In every game you play that has ragdolls THEY ALWAYS MOVE LIKE THIS!! That's the idea. Also anybody can beat this game with regular movements, the whole challenge of the game is to beat it with the lack of your normal movements.

I second Shassa. It'd be much nicer if we could control the direction our character's arms are pointing with the mouse. That way, being below the ships (where bombs and boss lasers go) isn't the only place you can attack them from.

another tip: you handle better when ur not shooting, so if u REALLY need the get out of the way of something, stop firing for a second. otherwise, always fire

tip: dont bother trying to control where the bullets go, just concentrate on dodging the incoming fire, and the bullets will hit thier targets

Picking up the lives needs to be easier. At the moment it's too luck based, as the other ship can easily stop you getting to it with a volley of shots. More responsive controls, or hearts which stayed at the bottom of the screen for a while would be good.
