Slightly buggy, way too short, and didn't push the excellent physics system into nearly as challenging areas as it made me hope for. But still, if this isn't a 5/5 game I don't know what is. A sequel with puzzlier, nastier terrain hazards could be one of my all-time top 5.
A – left , D – right , W – climb up , S – climb down , SHIFT – Hold to Run
R – reload , I – inventory , E – hold to Fix Barricades while standing next to one
MOUSE – aim, shoot , MOUSE – click & drag to move barricades (ONLY before STARTing your day)
Really? Would've been nice if this had been said somewhere obvious WITHIN THE FREAKING GAME. Inexcusable and frustrating, 2/5 unless somewhere can point me to where I missed these little details. >_<
What have we learned, boys and girls? Living creatures, even fruits, hate you and will destroy you. But explosives are your friends and you should go near them at every opportunity. ^____^ 5/5
Also, Marcling, I'm queer and really would appreciate it if you never, ever, ever speak up for us ever again. :3 There's nothing homophobic about this game.
Hmmm. Doesn't play as smoothly as Burrito Bison, the launch results feel a little TOO random, the graphics aren't anything extraordinary, and... you have to kill Justin Bieber.
5/5.
Excellent game, 5/5. LOVE the customizable character/class/weapon element, also really love the fact that elemental attack/defense actually makes a freakin' difference and adds to the strategy. Meanwhile, um, your English isn't terrible or anything, but you could probably benefit from getting a native speaker to do a quick edit of the dialogue next time! :)
So a booster pack for this game boils down to about $4, for a virtual game that might not even be here in a year and doesn't really let you have very deep tactics. But it only costs me $3 for a booster for Magic: the Gathering, a real game with real cards that I can keep forever, that I know is fairly good and is going to be around for years. Do you really think this is a good investment? 1/5 until a less insane price scheme is offered. This is BS.
Yup, sorry. The energy system is absolutely punishing, and combined with the war bonds purchase system it seems downright ethically shady to me. I'm fine with trying to make a little cash off a game -- if you want to give people premiums for donating, that's all right with me -- but being limited to five or six rounds at a time until I pay you really does turn me off of the whole game. Still giving you a 4/5 because the game itself is good, but not investing a penny in this until the energy system is relaxed a bit.
Hmmm, the AI doesn't seem to know how to block, not even when failure to do so means certain death on the next turn. Not a good sign. And I have some serious concerns about game balance -- especially since so much seems to depend on how many energy-producing structures you draw on the first turn. Too much randomness, and nothing to prevent you from dropping, say, 5 pts of production on the first turn when your opponent has nothing. 3/5 for now, more if I spot solutions to these problems.
Yeah, kinda disappointed by the lack of relevance to the theme, 'cause a really biological-themed or immune-themed TD game would have been super-awesome. I can't criticize the game for what it's not, but I can criticize it for feeling like a fairly derivative and unexceptional TD game when its title put me in mind of much cooler things it could've been. 3/5
This is so much more fun than it has any right to be. 5/5
Actually, I'd really love to see more game genres play with slot-machine mechanics, maybe as a weird CRPG character system or something?
