Thank you for putting in the effort to support Chrome; it's appreciated, and I'll give the game a go.
That aside, lemme soapbox one more time here. Chrome represents over half of the current browser market, with version 52 being the most installed single browser version (according to netmarketshare.com). That's on the 'net overall; I'm going to let my own unverified bias creep in and say the Kongregate crowd is probably slightly more likely than average to be Chrome users. Even though it may be more effort, it's super worth the effort (even during early testing) to support Chrome; you're literally at least doubling the audience out there for testing and playing.
I guess the situation there will improve soon.
Unity 5.5 is in beta now and it comes with web-gl 2.0 support.
And as soon as web-gl 2.0 is ready and supported by the browsers we will have a bit better quality with it and hopefully it will be easier to handle.
I´m afraid it will never deliver the same possibilities like the web player but at least it will be much better than now.
@Braciales: I do use Google Chrome, and see previous comment. You say Unity doesn't work in Chrome, I say 50% of the Unity games on the site do. Give @flippet3 a message, ask him what wizardry he worked on pewpewarena. Then spread the word, so we can get over this weird roadbump that some, but not all, Kongregate devs seem to have.
It should work on chrome now. The thing is the following.
For Unity games on Kong there are 4 Options all of them have pros and cons.
We can opload a Webplayer-build, A Web-Gl Build, Both for one Game. And the last Option is to upload it as two seperate games one Web-Gl and one Web-Player.
This game here is far from finished is just a early test build. So I did just a web-player build at first for testing. Its the fastest and easiest way to make a stable/working build.
To make sure to make it work on as many pc s as possible we have to make it as to seperate builds(iirc). If you wanna know the details check the dev forums here on kong.
Kinda weird how half the games I try to play on this site start off with a standard Unity loading screen, and the other half fail with a screen saying Unity games don't work in my browser anymore. Either the former group are all faking, or the latter just haven't figured out how to do it.
Do you use Google Chrome ?
Chrome does not suport the unity webplayer anymore.
Also if you use Firefox it could be that a plugin causes troubles together with Unity.
You could try to turn them all off and let just the FLashplayer and the Unity player active.
@bibofon Once you figure out you can just spam shots over and over rapid-fire, at which pointing aiming is basically unnecessary, it switches from normal difficulty to trivial. ;)
Uhh, hang on: Max Level, all bonus upgrades via achievements gained (btw, there's a typo there, upgrade is repeatedly spelt "upgragde"), but I still have one more thing to unlock on the skill tree? Am I missing something?
My favourite bit is how the game window is so big, it's too tall for 1080p.
Actually, my favourite bit is how the start button is jammed in the upper-left corner of that window, instead of near the centre or somewhere else that'd make sense.
Actually, my favourite bit is how it plays the "mouse cursor is over start button" over and over again rather than just once.
ACTUALLY, MY FAVOURITE BIT IS HOW THE SOUND AND MUSIC ARE BOTH SET TO THE MAX VOLUME POSSIBLE.
Actually, my favourite part is how the enemies take a ton of hits, but have no way to show how damaged they are.
Actually, my favourite part is how the explosions don't have a transparent background, covering the surrounding square with black.
Just a little suggestion; as you can also fire with the space bar, and that makes *way more sense* than keeping a hand on the mouse despite this not being a game with mouse aiming or anything, perhaps change the instructions to mention to fire with Space?
Also: on the last stage, I was able to glitch out of bounds. I eventually hit (I think) the top-left corner of the play area, at which point the game froze (bullet handing in mid-air etc).
Stuck on (I think) the last stage; one enemy apparently, but all I can find is one unkillable purple that slowly drifts off the bottom off the level. Maybe the symbols on the different chambers means something, but if it doesn't, it's too obscure; need more guidance for the player if there's a puzzle here.
If you walk off screen (possibly even just touch the border), your character disappears but the game continues. So you can easily get an arbitrarily high score, without actually being able to win.
@durentu & @Bootswins - The word you were looking for is "lose". "Loose" means something different.
Anyway, yeah; hit a quadrillion golden fleece recently, loaded today, and everything's gone. This isn't really the best thing to happen right after the Greenlight announcement...
"DEVELOPER RESPONSE FROM PANROBERCIK: This game is only for polish Players"
Oh, really? Allow me to retort:
1) There are language options for all sorts of languages on that game, not just Polish.
2) Even if there weren't, people are allowed to play games not made in their native language.
3) Even if they weren't, that entire point has nothing to do with my complaint. This is a lazily-created badly-sized offsite-link in place of a Kongregate game, and would still be a lazily-created badly-sized offsite-link in place of a Kongregate game if I was Polish.
HEY! HEY! LISTEN! CAN YOU... CAN YOU ADD A VOLUME CONTROL? FOR THE SOUND EFFECTS? NO, A... A VOLUME CONTROL!
...VOLUME! CONTROL! IT'S REALLY LOUD! ...I SAID, IT'S LOUD!
I'LL COMMENT AGAIN LATER, WHEN IT'S QUIETER! ...NO, LATER! I SAID I'LL oh forget it.
Not fixed :o
Loaded up today, and... OK, a few things. First, I got the start of game tooltips all over again to click away. I'm also still getting the "0 /sec" issue. The bars are all filling up, my total is slowly rising, so sheep are being counted at least?
