A couple minor glitches with the interface: In the store screen, if you click to use the boost it will just waste the boost without actually speeding up production. Also when you log in and click the OK button after viewing your offline production it treats it like you clicked to harvest your Peppers. Most of the time that's no big deal, but sometimes you want to upgrade the Peppers in the store before you harvest them and you can't do that.
OK, well I get it now, but I'm a bit annoyed that it was so unclear that I prestiged without getting the bonus. Maybe I couldn't afford it anyway. Would like to have known what the choice was. Anyway one other comment is that the +5% for the first 10 stars is nice, but it doesn't do much for replayability. You get 10 stars in just one or two prestiges.
Also - I prestiged my farm and I did NOT get any bonus prestige for having lvl 50 on the wheat and potatos. No idea what it is supposed to do, but it's not doing it.
I don't know how to post a screenshot. I got to 50 wheat and it turned into grass and in the top left it has a yellow star and 10 blue stars. I got to 50 potatos and they still say potato but now they have a yellow star and 15 blue stars in the top left corner. When I click the 10 blue stars or the 15 blue stars it does nothing. In the bottom left corner it still says New Farm and a blue +6. If I click to New Farm is also says +6. Tell us what is supposed to happen when we get 50 of something. Are we supposed to get +10 blue stars for leveling wheat to level 50?
No, the idea is that the max workers for a field is 50. Once you reach that number, the "hire worker" icon turns into a button with a yellow star. That button is for upgrade the crop to a higher tier (it's like you if you buy a field after the 9th one). Probably you haven't got the money to do it, so the button is grey, right? (the cost is under it). The prestige you see on it is granted only when you use the button, exactly the same as when you buy a new field with blue stars.
As it seems this is confusing, I think I'll change it a bit, making the button appear only once you've bought the last field.
Also my level 50 wheat (i.e. grass) still makes less per hour than the level 40 potato does, so it's not like there was a significant boost in production for it. I just don't know what it's supposed to do.
OK, but what does the 10 blue stars mean on the grass? Clicking it does nothing and the "new farm" thing still only says +6 blue stars. So it's not an upgrade that I can activate and it's not a bonus to my blue stars on prestige. Or something isn't working. What is it supposed to do?
The 1% per prestige point is really a bit more than +2%. You get +1% faster production and 1% more money. Still too little, but just wanted to point out to the people complaining about it. The bigger problem is that you can't get very many points per prestige no matter how long you play and there's no reason to keep playing for even a second more once you've unlocked the last crop. Poorly planned design. You should get upgrade points every X levels on every crop, that way there would be a point to continue playing and you'd get more points from later playthroughs.
In last update, you can Upgrade the crops to higher quality levels (yellow stars), and you earn prestige every time.
You unlock this once you hire 50 workers in a field. EDIT: You also need to buy the 9th field (corn).
It's a little cheesy that you took the time to implement the ads before you added the shop. I know you need to make money and all, but that's not cool on a game that is so bare bones.
Also am I crazy or do your crew get killed off if you have 100 idle crew and you heal more of them in the medical bay? That's just stupid. Fix your game so it stops healing them instead of shooting them out of the airlock or whatever stupid thing is happening there.
Minor glitch: the image for the continental railroad is placed in the bottom right side of the view (on top of the battlefield), but the train rolls in towards the top right side.
Really need to notify players when you update the game. I logged in and had zero production in a bunch of things. Took me a while to figure out you increased the energy requirements (by x10!) and I needed to build a ton of new power plants.
This game in very early state, i can adjust some parameters several times per day in tries to achieve decent balance. I think it would be too annoying to spam people with update notifications so often and with such minor changes.
Well it is a bit better with the faster speed, but there still isn't enough here to really call it a complete game. You just need more features. Nice start though.
Fixed button on store. I'll see waht can I do about the "clicks below" bug.
