The interest skill breaks the game. You should put a cap on it. As it is, you can watch a few videos and get absurd compound interest. I'm currently at about 25% interest per wave, which very quickly turns into millions of resources.
It would help to know how many HP the mobs have. Also do they ever give more than 1 resource per kill? I'm on wave 30 and so far that seems like the base.
Why are you talking about adding new content when the existing content is imbalanced to the point of being completely useless? It can't be that hard to fix some of this stuff...
The smith is very buggy. Sometimes when you are upgrading it, it will advance to the next smith level but still let you hire smiths for the old price. If you accidentally click again then it basically freezes the smith - Mine is level 20 something but only produces 10 armor per turn and further upgrades don't seem to help.
The progression on this game is crazy backwards. I reset within an hour or two of starting and doubled my multiplier. The next day I reset again and almost tripled my multiplier again. Since then I've adjusted my computer date forward about 6 months and if I reset I'd only increase my multiplier by about 50%. I'm also not even close to advancing to the next stages with the girls I have available. Currently all my hobbies are level 26 and it will take over 5,000 hours to get to level 27. That's another 6 months. And level 27 doesn't actually help me - I need skills at level 30, 35 and 40 for the four girls I have left. Getting to level 40 will take decades. I don't know how you could release even an alpha of a game with that kind of obvious problem. Ditto for the achievements, which include doing things like uselessly poking someone 1 million times... that kind of thing just puts players off because it is so obviously thoughtless.
After a while, especially after upgrading soldier fire speed, I am able to just leave the game idle and the enemy never gets through. It should be a balance between too much manual killing blobs and too little. Like there should be occasional larger waves of bad guys, or big bads, so that the soldiers and towers can't always keep up.
@Resentments, I think the time spent to get to the starred grass is pretty efficient as long as it is worth 30 prestige instead of the 10 prestige it claims it is worth. I've not starred potato yet, but it might also be worthwhile if it's similarly worth more than advertised.
Seems like upgrading grass to the star gives +30 prestige, not +10. I'm hesitant to point it out because you you give us too few points, but it's a pretty glaring error. I don't know how you keep doing stuff like that. It's a nice game and I enjoy playing it... I just really wish you'd have even a minimal level of quality control and testing before pushing out new content.
My achievements screen says I've completed 11,000 quests and I've just recently unlocked the last item on era 6. I would have thought that's a pretty good amount.
Man I've been on era 6 with the jellyfish people for about 5 days and I'm still FAR from completing it. When I started era 6 I made about 2.5b resources per hour and now I'm up to 11b. That's still not even close to enough. I have almost all the upgrades and all my achievs are around lvl 4. Other than sitting active all day to grind boosts I don't know what I could do to speed this up. I'm thinking I made some poor choices with Wonders at lower eras.
Are you doing a decent amount of quests? The resource gain from quests due to upgrades can be very large, sometimes greater than resource production. Also I'm probably going to cap item cost increasing, probably at about 400 for era 6. Maybe that will allow you to hoard up on them and build up production.
Japan level is not fun with the boat rocking around, but i do appreciate the humor of the Titanic joke. Shooting that guy in the face almost makes up for the pain of trying to shoot those runner guys.
It says I'm only 48% complete with the game, but I've beaten the first 3 levels in easy and hard mode with 3 stars each and the last level I beat in easy mode. I'm guessing that most of the remaining 52% is buying and upgrading a bunch of useless rifles... not cool. All you really need is to upgrade the first rifle and then save up for the best rifle.
Thanks for your feedback. I'll increase the price and add a cap to it.
