We should be able to just hit Continue after we're done, rather than watching the coins tick down. Also why is this flagged as Idle, Soccer, Pirate and RPG? Tsk tsk.
you can double click continue button - and skip straight to the shop. if this does not work for you - i will have to investigate ... :)
"Idle, Soccer, Pirate and RPG" - i am ok with RPG (althogh it is yet far from being such), but others - i don't know :( i will check how do these guys appear here. thanks, for your comment
Why does this dev keep making new idle games that repeat the same mistakes? Every one of them has poor in-game tool tips, poor late game progression, inconsistent leveling speed, and terribly user interface for late game upgrading. I really need to go to the inventory screen and click to individually upgrade 3 gems on 5 different pieces of equipment on 4 different characters and click once per level up? That's crazy bro. Don't get me wrong, every one of your games shows promise, but instead of updating the games to fix the problems you just make new ones that are screwed up in all the same ways. You've said before on other games that each new game you try to focus on improving one aspect of the game... next time why not address the obvious gameplay issues that people keep complaining about?
Needs a lot of work on balancing so that players don't grind to a screaming halt before they accrue a useful amount of gems. As it is, we just smack into a wall and have to grind for hours and hours to get to a point where it makes sense to reset. Also, it is bad design to force us to re-urn the click and spell cast achievements every game. Those should be tied to the trophies and survive across resets.
Gem progression seems too slow. I've played a long time yesterday and today (no offline progress is lame, btw) and the progress has really slowed down. But I would only would get 4 gems on reset, so it would be crazy to do that now. Most of these games you get to a point where you hit a wall right around the time that you could reset for a decent bonus. But that would need to be something like 50 gems, not 4...
I've noticed it sometimes is possible for one of your guys to get healed right after he dies. So he's sitting back in your base with a bunch of HP. Kind of screws you over cause then your healers can't heal someone who is still in the fight.
Pitforest, no, I don't have anything like that. Also I've never had problems losing saves on other games (and I play A LOT). I'll try on a different browser and see if that solves it for me.
Lost my save again. I exported save so not a disaster, but there seems to be something wrong with save games on Safari. It was fine when I just reset the game yesterday, but both times when I closed the browser overnight it lost the save.
We noticed that sometimes localStorage (the HTML5 thing the game uses to save your game) gets cleared randomly, even though it's required to persist until the users explicitly asks for its deletion, or until the app deletes it. I haven't been able to consistently reproduce it yet, I can only guess at what might cause it. Is it possible that you have addons/plugins/extensions installed that do things like "clean up the cache once in a while" or something like that?
It seems like guys recover HP at the same speed no matter how high their max HP is. Shouldn't HP recovery speed up as you get more HP? Otherwise we end up sitting around a long time in the base, which isn't much fun.
For people wondering, I was finally able to beat the first raid around the time that my guys started hitting level 20. Might be possible lower level using items, but level 20 is the soonest you'll be able to do it reliably without blowing a ton of stuff. First raid gives a sword that increases damage by 50%. Pretty powerful. That raid has a 1 hour cool down after you beat it.
pitforest, Just to tell you, I logged back in and it saved correctly this time. Don't know what happened the other time, I didn't clear cache or anything like that. Anyway, problem solved for me!
pitforest, I'm playing on safari. I see the export save option and will try to use that before I log out. Like I said, I really like the game a lot and I don't mind losing the save once, just want to get it figured out so it doesn't happen again.
Hmm, i played a couple hours this morning and just logged in and my save is gone. Did I miss a manual save button? I like the game enough to start over, but no point if it isn't going to save.
That's odd, the game saves automatically every 30 seconds, but you can also manually export a savegame in the options menu on the right (the resulting save files can be imported in principle by every browser, but there are bugs related to that in the current version that will be fixed once the next version is released!). Could you tell me what browser (and what browser version) you are using?
Also, this is just me, but nothing says "F You" to a player like making them spend hours saving money for an upgrade and then giving the upgrade a build timer. How does making me wait another 5 minutes to use the upgrade make the game more fun? I get it if you have a pay to win game, where people can pay cash to speed stuff up, but in f2p games it's just there to make me wish I were playing a different game.
It's the new cool thing on Kong to make idle games and release them WAY too early and then just hope you'll be able to update them fast enough to keep people interested. I can't figure out why people keep doing it instead of just waiting another week or two to get the games right before they release them. Just go look at the update history of the established idle games and make sure you've done everything that they did. If every single good idle game lets you buy x10, buy x100, buy max, etc. then don't release your game without it. There is no excuse for getting something wrong that 50 other games have already gotten right through trial and error.
Needs a mode where you automatically progress levels when you kill the monster. Needs ability to buy x10, x100 and buy max. Needs more skills in the tree so you aren't just wasting dozens of points. Needs a lot of balancing of the achievements: some are way easier to "clear" than others... will take forever to clear the monster level, especially without auto advance.
