If you use the Danaya religion, one of the spells lets you multiply your total food by 10 every 15 minutes. This is unbelievably overpowered. I logged in today with about 1 quadrillion food. Turn off population growth, wait an hour, now I have 10 quintillion food. Wait another hour, then I'll have 100 sextillion. On and on and on.
Am i crazy or does Faith production mean absolutely nothing as long as you make at least 365 per second? I currently have billions of faith sitting around, but I can't use them because there is a minimum charge time for each of the spells. If that's the case, maybe you should tell the players that somehow so we don't waste our resources buying extra temples or assigning workers. Or do I just not understand it?
Nossir, not dead! And it won't be dead either, I have HUGE plans for this game!
Next update is here, religion is activated. I'm sorry it took so long, but unexpected life things got in the way. I'll be more active once more as tons of new content is underway.
Reseting should increase your mining speed too instead of just increasing gold from chests. It isn't worth resetting if I have to spend just as much time mining as I did the first time.
Also, there really needs to be more to do with resources later in the game. Or some way to buy and sell resources. I have tons and tons of wood that I will never be able to use.
I'm working on a trading post right now, but there will be other opportunities to spend your resources later on, it just takes a while until I get all the coding done!:)
ichbinsehselber, in the Population tab, click the buttons on the top for "Gather Food", "Gather Wood" and "Gather Stone". After you click enough you can start buying buildings and researching stuff to add idle production.
Offline progress bug: I earned 1.8 billion coins last night even though I did not have currency unlocked. At first I couldn't even see the coins, but when I unlocked currency they were sitting there.
There should also be a way to trade all my excess wood for stone/metal/currency. You've put too much emphasis on using metal and currency for upgrades and a lot of the other resources become obsolete.
The more I look at this, the more unbalanced the resources are. The first metal research costs 25 million metal. The level 2 metal building costs 1 million metal. The level 1 metal building (which only gives 50 metal per second) costs a ton of stone, with is only efficient to collect using buildings that cost a lot of metal. You've made a great big bottleneck around the stone/metal mid-game.
I'm slowly working on removing these bottlenecks, I need to do some more maths here, but over the next few days a little more patching, things should run a lot more smoothly. Thanks for all the feedback!
Metalworking should cost less stone. You need metal to build the level 3 stone building and you need metal to get the level 2 stone research. It's too much of a bottleneck to do that and then require a bunch of stone to get metalworking in the first place.
Sometimes the spring traps throw guys into places where they get stuck. On Crumble Zone I had one guy get thrown into my base, but on the left side of it so he was just stuck sitting around in the fire ball. I eventually put a dart gun next to him and killed him.
Right, good one...I've nerfed it for now to 4x from 10x
