No quality setting? It would be nice, considering that the number of guns I had lying around late during Survival would slow down even a Jeopardy-winning supercomputer... But I guess there was no reason for me to be beyond wave 70 in the first place. Game is nicely done, by the way.
I always wonder in these border patrol games (Animal Rush) just what makes these animals so desperate that they keep running, even though the hundreds of others that got close were blown to bits...
Aww... My upgraded creature died to a skull shield the turn I played it... Good thing I had a Mitosis and an Eternity already in my hand. Man, that was awesome.
I like Tyrant and Elements, to be honest. Though I got bored of Tyrant in a few months and here I am. over a year later, still playing Elements. They don't really compare though, because Tyrant focuses more on building decks than perfecting them.
In case anyone has a hard time "finding" the boss, the bubbles aren't hidden on the map. Moving in any direction AWAY from the initial starting bubble generates tougher enemies. Moving back toward the first bubble weakens em back down. Also, your xp IS your health. Always has been in these games. You will lose levels for taking too many hits, but you won't die. In any case this one is MUCH easier than the first, where a single bullet could kill half a level.
Anyone else accidentally ram an accelerator immediately after launch, turning it upside-down, then fly through it to ram the Earth at mach-6? I feel like Filbert from Rocko's Modern Life...
Twenty and one third hours later I can confirm that there is no secret reward for buying every weapon in the Arsenal. There is, however, a reward for bringing your Completion to 100%.
For almost a year Kongregate has told me to play this game "when [I'm] ready for [my] next challenge!" So I finally gave in. "Challenge"......... interesting word choice.
UPDATE to my previous description of how to get more points and money: Grab a thrusting weapon, kill an enemy with it, walk forward under (and a tiny bit in front of) them, POINT the weapon UP, and hold to activate it as the ENEMY'S FEET approach YOUR HANDS. If you do it right, it should shower you in more money than they normally drop, and add more to your combo as well. (@CKLarson: Sorry for giving away the secret to how you got so many points)
And yes, I have tried lowering the graphic level. It doesn't help. I don't have that problem with any other game, but I'd hate to blame this game for the problem.
@SoStacieFan: Actually Power Balls come in really handy (especially if mastered) during either of the Rumble battles. Just throw them all in the room before the enemies appear, same goes for the lock-downs at the end of every boss-less stage. I agree about the eggs and water balloons though.
