Listen... if you need to include a 15-level tutorial, your game is too damned complicated. Try harder to make PUZZLES out of the elements you've already established rather than add new game elements to try to make things more complex.
Who cares if the guy 'gives the game to somebody who will do something with it'? There's a thousand ways to play Risk online, most with better interfaces than this. Go do that instead of tearing your hair out about some random flash game.
Looks like time carries far more weight in determining your final grade than retries do:
Time: 8:00, Retries: 5, Grade: B-; Better Obechi
I'd have saved about 20-30 seconds if I had quit out of the final level sooner rather than trying to get the last 9 with 2 rings on my first try
This game is boring and repetitive, with too little attention paid to balance and zero variation in strategy required. I don't know why there should be 25 levels since they're all exactly the same. All the specialty towers are extremely underpowered, making them a waste of money. Play the first few levels over and over using only base towers until you can get the cash upgrade that enables the super tower, then use super towers to grind out the rest of the game.
Yes, this game is too hard for me because I am terrible at P&C's, but the intro movie is well worth the price of admission. Equal quality to a Blizzard cutscene.
This game sucks. I clicked everything and there's nothing else to do. And logically it doesn't make sense. I'm in the zombie apocalypse and I can't take a rifle? And I can't even bang the broad? Fail.
I'm starting to realize that if I want this badge I'm going to have to start all the way over and hope I choose abilities that will eventually work on Waizer. It seems shocking to me that anybody could win with a Stark One, since if I'm unable to do more than 20-30 damage on my best hits with all my combat abilities, talents and skills maxed out, it must take a weakening power to be able to beat this guy. Either that or one-handed blunt weapons are hopeless, which is completely stupid and unfair. One way or the other, it shouldn't be possible to get to the final boss battle after utterly dominating all the enemies before it, and find yourself unable to win. Whether it's my stat layout, my ability choices, my weapons, or whatever it was, it sucks that these options are not only allowed but SEEM to succeed, before completely letting you down in the final fight.
Comment part 3
The real failure comes in the final battle, Waizer's power level is SO FAR out of proportion with what the player has been facing that there may be no way to win without starting over, which is VERY irritating. I had a dual-blunt weapon Stark One, in my last 15-20 battles I didn't bother hiring anyone and typically killed one opponent each battle round until it was over - couldn't improve my gear, ended with over 15,000 in the bank. Waizer killed me in about 3 rounds. Re-loaded, maxed out shield skill and plugged in the epic shield I had been holding in inventory. Now I'm about 100 rounds into the Waizer battle and I just have no way to win. If I use concentration I can damage him for about 20-40 every other turn, but every time he gets near 100 HP he uses the heal power that gives him 75 back. I have no other options, and this has been going on forever.
Comment part 2
Great game concept, good design, good graphics, nice screens, but ultimately this game fails miserably due to a total absence of attention to balance, exacerbated by the lack of transparency. While in any good game some 'builds' work better than others, there is essentially no way to make that determination with Apokalyx until it's too late. It's typically not clear to the player what the effect of taking a different direction in the character tree is going to be until several battles after it happens, and since the total number of battles is capped, one cannot afford to waste any of them. On top of all that, slash characters have a huge advantage since there are many more high-quality slash weapons in the boss loot.

Very buggy. The basketball icon doesn't work in games. The Victory screen is super bugged (see my other comment) - I finally realized that once I click on all 3 family members and THEN click Okay, I can advance (of course, I didn't get to keep the cricket bat). The mouseover tooltips don't recognize the edge of the flash window so if a weapon is in a slot on the left I can't read most of its description.
Um... so this is unplayable or I'm doing something wrong. I finished the first battle, can't add any of the weapons I found, and then clicking OK does nothing and I can't advance past the Victory! screen.
This game is garbage. If you can't bother to spell/grammar check your text, I'm not going to waste much time on the game. After the third time I got sent to a different website trying to pick up an object, and after the seventh time getting thrown off the ledge in the third level without finding anything I can do about it, I quit. Good concept, terrible game. 2/5
