Other minor ways to improve the game: survivors pathing AI is awful. And more hotkeys, particularly for survivor quota up/down. I will look forward to the next version of this game more than any other game I've anticipated for a long time.
Awesome game. Love the concept, almost flawless execution.

1. It is very frustrating to look up and see 179 'unallocated' bullets and 238 'unallocated' boards and yet not be able to fund a sniper tower with 15 seconds remaining before they come. Or to build one and not be able to upgrade it. Whatever logic is behind the ferrying around of supplies should be tweaked. It's also not totally clear what the player can do to prevent or address this.
2. Would like to see a fast forward button in addition to the pause button, to speed up the end of a stage.
Damn, I beat this game like at least a year ago, and come to find out there are badges for it now, but there's no way I'm going to play this whole thing over again. Why don't the badges update? Weak!
I echo the comment suggesting hotkeys, hotkeys, and hotkeys. With hotkeys it might be possible to Brilliant level 12. I was hoping that maxing out all the skills would put me over the edge, but it just doesn't seem like it. Between the Ninja Champion being fast and not knowing which direction he's coming from, I just can't get him before he gets there. It's kinda BS that the gems are less than 5 seconds from the entrance.
Anyway, hotkeys and more levels and this game would be 6/5. As it is it's perfectly balanced and super fun and has hilarious sound effects to boot. 5/5
I want to like this game but it's just incredibly boring and slow. Every battle is the same, the quests aren't interesting, I maxed out weapons, armor and ride almost right away and now it's just sitting through the same random events over and over and over again.
The secret to the all-splitter level is not what you would think: don't upgrade ANYthing. Just build a big-ass maze (using more straight lines than diagonals so they cannot jump), and juggle pretty much all 30 levels. I easily got a perfect win and all I ever made beyond basic towers was 1 sniper.
This game freakin' sucks. You can only pass it if you happen to come across a few totally hidden items. There aren't clues in the game giving you an idea what to do.
Level 29: remove the blue balls in the "bottom" corners (total 4) so the greens fall down. Then, remove one small pin from each stack that is in between the 2 "bottom" red balls. Then remove the small fixed rectangle in the middle, making the big blue box fly upwards through the hole you made, smashing into the reds and blowing them off the top of the screen. Quickly remove the other small fixed rectangle so the other big blue box flies to the left and blowing those reds off the side of the screen.
Okay, this game seriously sucks. It makes me sad. The interface is much smarter and smoother than the Pandemic games, which is good. The music kicks ass. But there's just no game behind it. There's almost no strategy at all that I can tell, you just sit and wait for the vaccine, then send it out to some states occasionally, depending how much money you have; there's no way to have much influence at all over making money; the choices you make seem to have little effect on the outcome of the game at all.
Worst of all, the algorithms behind the infection rates and etc. need a LOT of work. They routinely get stuck at 1 or round themselves back up to 1 from 0. It's incredibly irritating to clean out a state, settle it with every surviving citizen immune and the rest dead, then get an alert "infection arrives in CA" and look to see 1 infected 0 healthy. OVER and OVER and OVER. The game takes FOREVER.
Fire-only seems to work well. Lots of pillars, Fire Spirit, and Fire Bolt. Couple of Deflagrations thrown in for safety and Ash Easter for grease. If I draw Spirits, it's easy kill for a while; either I win that way or I wait til I've got tons of quantums and cast a bunch of Bolts in a row. So far level 2 elementals can't kill me fast enough to stop it.
