I have a recommendation for a good multi-buy option. Make a "Buy to next achievement" option. Example: whether you're at 0 or 1 or 5, it would always buy as much as it can or up to 25. Next click goes to 50. next click goes to 100. Continue through 200, 300, etc. This would make a good way to advance quickly for extremely late game people and earlier people alike. I don't know know what you're planning on adding in this coming update (which I am VERY excited about btw) but maybe after you have hit 600 or whatever the new max achievement is, make the option just buy all you can afford.
I was testing something, so I tried to exporting my game data, and saving it in Word. I then did a hard reset and let it run over night. The next day, I tried to import the data, but the game wouldn't accept it. I don't mind, so don't bother trying to fix my data, but you might want to look into this, since it is a rather serious bug. By the way, this actually took place a while ago (around the 2nd or 3rd of July.)
I really prefer having even numbers, so this may be more for me than most people, but can you make it so that the x10 buy only LETS you buy ten at a time? I think you should go beyond just showing the x10 price, but make it lock it to only let you buy 10 at a time in x10 mode? I do love the update, by the way, and I'm still looking forward to further improvements.
If anyone doesn't know the commands for shaman, here they are: 'z' turns the object you have selected counter-clockwise, 'x' turns it clockwise. 'c' creates a rigid joint on the object, pressing it again moves it around (except with balloon, in which case it lets you attach it to a mouse or object, and 'v' and 'b' do the same). 'v' makes a freely pivoting joint. 'b' makes a immobile joint, which attaches to the background, rather than another piece. 'j' makes a pivot that moves counter-clockwise. 'n' makes a pivot that moves clockwise. Space makes the object intangible, so mice can't touch it. However, you can still attach other things to them, and they still interact with the environment. Also, make any pivots before you press space, as they make it tangible again. I recommend that you use an empty room (see gigitrix's comment) to practice these. Please + this so people will know how to start as a shaman, unless you know something I missed, in which case please add that as well.
I recommend farming level 32 for laser kills to get the medium badge. Just conquer the ring of laser turrets, and then defend it. The enemy will attack in waves, giving you at least 100-150 kills per wave
I'm having a problem with my game's garage. Whenever I click anywhere on the cargo bay window, it switches to show the configuration. This makes it difficult to switch out weapons for mining lasers, for instance. Whenever I click to equip the weapon, it switches screens. I hope you can fix it.
How do the high scores work? I have far more angel investors than it says my record is (in the friends tab.) Do you have to do a hard reset before it will accept a new high score?
This last update made getting angel investors so much easier. I used to just double my investors, and I had about 30k. after the update, it took me 2 days to bring that up too 1.9 mil. I'm about to reset, and this will bring it up to 14 mil. It's almost too easy.
I noticed that you have a monospaced font for the main cash, but you still don't for the total cash earned. Admittedly, saying "billion", "quadrillion", etc. helped, but could you please fix this as well so the total/total per game money won't jump around?
I have 17k Angel Investors. I got enough money letting it run over night to buy 8 oil companies, from 270 to 278. I have 200 of everything else but 300 lemonade stands. This is a message directed at people who say this game is "way too fast." My next oil company will cost 3,804 trillion dollars. I have been playing this game for a week or so, and this is the closest I have gotten to 300. Try passing 200 before you try saying the game is too slow.
I find this the easiest schedule for resetting: Play for a day, and get everything up to 100 or so, which is about the highest you can reach in a day till you have lots of angel investors. Then, after you sleep, reset the game and do the same again. There isn't any point in buying stuff right before you reset, so don't bother. Also, always get the expensive stuff like oil companies upgraded first (I, for instance, have nothing above above 25 till everything is, that way you get the double boost of "Everything at 25/50/etc." as fast as possible.)
Are angel investors based on the total amount of money made? I'm on my first game, and could reset and get 4 investors at $800 billion, so is it $200 billion per investor?
It's not a 1 to 1 ratio. We use a square root function to determine the number of Angel Investors, so you have to earn more to get more. But they don't get particularly more difficult to get.
@Raelyn The game automatically sells your current ship and gives you half the price (unfortunately, you still have to have to full price of the new ship.)
i must have broke something with the new dragable windows, ill fix tonight.
