Clicking the left half of the 'close' button on the upgrade menu will take you to Arcade Bomb's site since the little banner extends there when you hover over it. You should fix that.
Game could have done without any diagonal paths ever. They are just not good for trying to walk on, the edges are so sticky. Gotten me killed more than once.
I started playing the game the day it came out. I completed the game 100% on May 17th. My save file is still present throughout the whole thing, the updates don't seem to have knocked it away at all. What is 4mber talking about, and why is it so highly rated in the comments?
It looks like a large bulk of 'awesomegames8' games have been removed. I wonder if Kongregate did that or if he removes his old games after their ratings drop off?
Hey I remember a game like this *sees it's by thegames8* Oh... Huh... And then you look at 'awesomegames8' games which use the same sound effects, he basically recycles his same game over and over again as well. Then I went to their sites and they're both layed out exactly the same, just a little different graphically. So, similar sites, similar tactics of recycling not very good games, similar sound effects, similar names. @DocSloppy look up 4 Warriors, its on thegames8's game list. OH! You bring up another similarity between the two, their games skyrocket in ratings upon initial release, then simmer down into crapdom.
I don't know if I just got a lot better at the game as I went, but Hard Mode seemed really, really easy to 5 star every level. With copious amounts of extra money leftover afterward.
I invented agriculture and cabbage for my people, and they were overjoyed. But then they realized that cabbage is gross, and they only ate the fish I caught.
That is one thing I noticed, what ghost mentioned. It seems if you can only afford 1 upgrade, and click 'max upgrade' it will upgrade it once, but take away the cash for the next upgrade up as well without giving you that upgrade, leaving you with a negative money value. Really sucks on those towers with upgrades that cost 100-300.
I'm going to have to disagree with Acebladewing. The only things that get reset are the Bank, Research Lab, and Upgrades. You can figure that out in one round. Research points are pretty much pointless after the first few levels, save for spending them on these temporary 1 level buffs. He should perhaps specify that they only last the round, but it's not something I'm going to go and lower my rating by a whole star (or more) over.
Sound effects would be nice. A speed up button would be nice. More gold would be nice, my stockpiles are overflowing with wood and stone but I never have enough gold so it's pointless.
I could continue clicking the start button to play levels after the demo section was finished. Wheeeeeee! I haven't yet finished the first area though, so I'm not sure if you can move on beyond there. But it's more content than just 4 levels!
you can use 'esc' key too if the close button bothering you
