Well, as has been said by my peers before me, overall it's really fun... but. It's fun in that the game itself is pretty fun to play, the plot is kind of cool and mysterious, and the characters' outfits are kinda nice... But it also lags A LOT and the "Tips" for some reason are all in one line so reading them is kind of difficult because they apparently don't fit in the text boxes. 4/5 right now. Fix the lag and tips and it's an easy 5.
It's pretty cool but I want it to be LONGER! Unlocking stuff is cool but it'd be awesome if we actually played as the dragon, instead of going "door A" or "door B." Still, fun.
Not unlimited new hands, mind you, just one or one with a penalty, or something like that. Make it just a little bit less luck, a little bit more strategy.
Soapy: think about any card game you've played. When you shuffle the deck (properly) there is a chance you'll get the right amount of the cards you need and a chance to get the wrong amount. It's not how many "whatevers" are in our decks, it's how often we see them. And unless our ENTIRE deck is pillars, there's always going to be the chance we get a bad hand, bad draws, and get mana starved and lose. I'm just asking to have the option of getting a new starting hand so that doesn't happen as often and it's more fun to play.
Another suggestion: give us the option to get better starting hands if we wind up with something really bad (like, for example, one with no mana pillars). Granted, we shouldn't be able to shuffle back our hands an unlimited number of times, but one free mulligan (or even going down one card) wouldn't exactly be a bad thing.
Overall, very fun. However, I really want to be able to have multiple decks on the same account. For me, a big part of enjoying this game is trying out how different elements play. I'm having fun, don't get me wrong, but I'm also having trouble remembering all my different account names and passwords... Yes, you can delete my old accounts...
I just used ranged units and damage spells to beat cave 5. Dwarf, phantom armor, cannon, succubus, mermaid, witch. Comet, lightning, freeze, meteor, and the obligatory heal + invincibility. Just keep pushing the goblins (and the invincible one) back and they won't be able to touch you.
My favorite strategy so far: hit and run. Use cheap units that spawn quickly and then pack the spell side of the deck with the best removal you can find. Wipe the board with lightning storm, ice storm, and/or phoenix strike and then FORWARD, deal a ton of damage and then retreat once the counterattack starts, then play more removal to clear the board again. Repeat as needed.
So, I found a glitch.... I fought the conqueror dude as "Mukanaga" (did I spell that right?) when he took one of my castles (this is me retaking it) and I apparently leveled up. I got the Yeti card, according to the achievement circle-thingy, but in equip and upgrade it says I got the healing crystal.
Hey, uh, random question: what, exactly, are the zombies attacking with? Is that a tongue or some kind of slime or their soul or what? It's really weird, it's like their entire torso just splits in half and some kinda green thing pokes out and slaps their enemy....
Not bad. It was pretty easy for me once I figured out the enemies' rhythm. I'm still playing but so far, I like Epic War 2 better. Don't get me wrong, this is fun. But Epic War 2 is REALLY fun for me. If you're having trouble, remember: your hero can heal himself if you send him away from combat. Hit and run!
Really fun. Can you add a "boss mode"? Those guys are REALLY fun!... But going all the way through the 'story' mode to get to them is a fair amount of work, no offense. I LIKE the story mode, but I also really like fighting bosses!!!
Really good overall. I love the concept and setting up enemies so their own bullets hit them in the back of the head is just so much fun that alone would get it a 5/5 from me. The one problem I have is that the jump controls could be a lot smoother. Fix that and it'll be pretty near perfect.
Actually, if you're stuck in a stalemate the towers work pretty well even against the fast guys. The reason is because when your units fight the enemy units, neither one can move forward. So, as long as your units are tough enough, your towers will be able to deal damage regardless of whether you're fighting beetles or ants.
