For the record, I have an easier time killing MOUNTED spearmen than regular spearmen. Mounted, all you have to do is block until they pass and then attack them from the rear.
What determines if a place is "easy" or "hard?" I honestly can't tell the difference between an easy level and a hard level, except I seem to get triple-teamed more often on the easy level.
The card score tracking thing is messed up. I actually had to have about 14,000 SAVED UP before it'd say I beat the challenge. The game itself is OK, not my thing, and it REALLY needs volume control.
In a fighting game where you can't even control the direction you're FACING, let alone who you're targeting, situations where you're fighting three enemies at once can be somewhat infuriating.
Just started playing again after beating the two beatable dungeons. Still fun. One suggestion I have: make the conjurer's sprites RANGED instead of melee fighters. It'd improve their worth so much it's not even funny.
More than anything else, I'd like to see some customizable controls. As for cheats, no idea but it's not hard to level up, just learn one of the specials early on and mix it up with some dash attacks. Works like a charm against the bees and zombies in the first few areas.
Granted, I've never played Advance War, either one. Gotta say though, I really hate how vulnerable the Leviathan transports are and how every unit gets free counterattacks. Makes ganging up on a unit kind of pointless, other than distributing the damage.
