Oh, and while we're at it. This whole advance thingie: Doesn't work. Had my three men sitting a the top of the screen for 3 enemy waves... All of my men, that is.
What's wrong with the instans-death attacks in the Eastern Empires capital (the samurai/japanese ones)? I'm fighting some random soldier, leaving my men to take the enemy hero, and suddenly I just die. Dropping from full health to death without any chance to use health potions... and that with 100 con and max. armour for my race. Sudden death sucks! 2/5 for that... would have been 3 otherwise. To much grinding
No real challenge here. Just create a deck of any single colour, include 8-10 1-cost creatures for early blocking, and 6-8 high-cost/high-power creatures for attacking, and you've won. Any colour will do, since the AI is plain dumb.
Loved it, allthough there could have been an option for top-own view to get the full picture and make tiles easier to count. Still, a truly enjoyable game. 5/5, and good luck in the monthly contest!!
Play track 1. Use tack shoters and a single dart throwe for picking off the first two rounds. Then buy only tack shoters, upgraded firing once, placed in corners, untill round 16. Buy a boomerang, upgraded to thermite, near the entrance before round 20. You'll need a supermonkey for the MOAB. I got the hard badge that way.
A pretty simple game, that gets to predictable once the tanks enter. Start by firing off your tank, and then spam assault/infantry. Especially the last scenario is to easy. I used antitank to take down his tanks as soon as they entered. My starting tank made it to his ground and won.
Buy an upgrade whenever one is available (you have enough ether). Once you've bought 2 cannon upgrades, take out the outer ring of yellow orbs. When you've upgraded cannon one more time, take out the second ring (1 orb at a time. Follow it around and focus fire on it). Once all the tier 1 upgrades have been bought, buy in the following order: Triple shot, shield, missiles, secondary cannons. That worked for me.
For the gambler: call the guard.
Save the lady
Guard commander is Lar
Thief leader is Anya, 6 seconds. Kill Anya after the battle
Dog: N-N-W-S-W-E
Riddle is Crimson Brotherhood
Allways buy max. runes when given chance (if you can't afford it, decline, and retry when you've got more money).
I originally gave it a 4/5, but the dependence of the enemy on making my bottoms drift means I downgrade to 3/5. It's no longer a game of skill and strategy, but of quick reactions...
'almost no luck involved'... When your boúttoms are scrambled instantly, and you're then blinded, I won't call that almost no luck. I didn't know what I was doing 80% of the fight against Jasper the Lich.
I've played level 8 and 9 4 or 5 times... Not because I like these levels, but because I've been stupid enough to believe 'it should fix all the Save/Load bugs that persisted
and 'If you beat a level, you should not need to beat it again' meant what it said, and I could safely leave after saving on level 10... only to be bumped back to mid of level 8. A welldeserved 1/5 for that!!
