y turrets?! y u no want kill THE ALIENS WITH THE COWS?!?! That's one thing that very few TD games include that I always miss: adjustable targeting priorities. And that is one thing that separates the BTD4 and Gemcrafts of this genre from the ... others. Like this one. That being said... I guess it's not too bad for a TD. Cute premise and graphics.
I love the premise. Guy hits you with a sword, you... play a game until you get so angry you finally hit him back. Guy hits you with a sword, you keep playing with your pebbles, he hits you some more, you keep playing with your pebbles until the game, not the guy with the sword, angers you enough to decide to hit him back.... hmmm... it's too bad I can't focus my real-life rage at playing a game into the Internets, I'd tear through this game with that much rage...
It would be nice if we could regain evolution points by downgrading or relocking creatures or *something*. If you make some bad buys you wind up completely screwed for the rest of the game. I made the mistake of unlocking a flyer (thinking flying units could attack ground targets, apparently not), now I don't have sufficient ground power to complete the 4th level. At all, not even with a lot of luck. I can't even clear 1/3 of the map with that. Game over, time to play something else. Even more disappointing because it actually was shaping up to be semi-interesting (although the general lack of player interaction is kinda boring). 2/5
Not entirely certain what's going on. Could use some proof-reading by someone who speaks English as a primary language. Still, it's nice and I do like this kind of game. Needs some serious fleshing out to be a real contender though. 3/5
God damn you Greg! Why the hell did you have to not only badge this POS game, but add it to the Kala Moor Quest?? Great, so I went through all that crap to complete the other 7 quests and now I'm stopped by this crappy game that half the people who play it can't even SEE! Do they not read the comments? You're not alone, Figisigi, I can't see about 1/4 of the game, enough to make it unplayable. Happens in every browser, Chrome, Firefox, and IE. It's a Flash thing. Still 1/5 for being useless. (yes my Flash is up to date damnit, updated it like 4 times since this game came out)
Not sure how this game got better than a 3.5 and badged. 2/5 from this viewpoint. Despite picking the fastest animal on the first race 3 of the other races took off like I was standing still. 2 of them crossed the line before I even got on the screen again. I could understand if I were just sucking and 6 races in I was getting my butt handed to me, but traditionally you're supposed to be pretty even to start with... Apparently the stats don't actually count for much?
Awesome, I started the reactions training and... fell over immediately and the practice ended. I'm talking a split second after it started, no melons to be seen. Fantastic. Buggy?
Advice: Save up for the Commando, NOT the Veteran. The veteran has a 3-way machine gun, which sounds cool, but it's sometimes hard to not overshoot and kill civilians/VIPs/blow things up you don't want to. The Veteran has a machine gun but it only shoots in one stream, allowing a little more control. Fun game so far. 4/5
