Very nice. Except for the current Best comments... they scare me... I've put some time into this... am I going to lose it all? :( I'm going to refresh... if there isn't at least a level select, I'mma give it a 1/5. Otherwise, 4/5.
I am disappoint. Kinda thought it would have something to do with folding, ya know, interesting things. I know, technically origami is the art of folding paper and so folding paper into anything fits the bill, perhaps, but this is basically just... controlled paper crumpling. 2/5
Congratulations! You have defeated the Beast and fulfilled the ancient prophecies! Final Score: 0 <- Well geez, thanks for nothing, stupid game! All that time and work and I get... nadda, zip, zero! :(
If only there were skills to boost... the ability to "grind" a little to get better, so that when you get stuck on a certain level, you don't just rage quite, give it 1-star, and go play something else. Like I am. The big guys should have some sort of animation besides just running along. One of them gets close to me and I magically die for no visible reason? What, they just radiate damage or something? Some skills to increase agility/maneuver ability, health, armor, damage output, etc. Basic stuff like that would go a long way to vastly improving this game. I lied earlier, I'll give it 2 stars.
So I guess "ESC" doesn't just bring up a Pause screen like most games... crap. Was half way through the 2nd round which takes something like 2hrs to get to? (feels like). So not going to play it again, I almost fell asleep at my desk. Nice music though. 3/5
Bug: When you turn the sound off in the Options menu, then go back into the game and click on something that moves, the sound comes back on. Even though the slider is still to the far left.
Ouch! These songs are so horribly done they eat at my brain while trying to figure out the puzzles. Still... badges must be got, at least Apocaylpse Nao badge... maybe I can do it with the sound off?
Boring. Following the way of most movies: 1st one was great, 2nd one is someone bored with a few minutes to smush something together, put too much time into the auxiliary features (Blacksmith, etc.), not enough time into the gameplay. Needs way more variety. Especially going from one region to the next. I expect different creatures in Icy Catastrophe. Was sorely disappointed. I don't mind a little grinding if things *change*, but here it's just... grind... octopus... grind... larval maggot... grind... man-eating plant... grind grind grind grind grind... Nothing else? Really? The first one was full of such variety, what happened??
Was going along not badly until I had to click the "Workshop" icon... it's greyed out and inaccessible, but because I'm locked into the tutorial, there's nothing else I can do. Game is completely dead. Oh well, from what I'm reading in the other Comments, it's energy based, and I can do without that. I'll just go play the real KB. It's a nice try, good luck with it Nival/1C! 2/5
So I went Googling the Tiktik Aswang and found this video. I know it's a bit long for some, but personally I thought it was pretty fascinating. Some some good myth and lore. http://youtu.be/2ePhqoyLpXQ
Computer cheats. No question. I built 8 guys, sent them forth, scrolled down to post that last single line comment, scrolled back up and not only were my guys gone but the computer had a full 10 men beating on my castle. It would be physically impossible for me to build 5 in that time span, let alone 10. Fail. 2/5
