My game also crashed upon clicking OK at the end of the 1st tutorial level. Offhand guess: it's because it's trying (and failing) to save. The Medieval Cop series also crashes on me whenever I try to save, which is why I thought that.
Yes it could be related to saving. Save is supposed to be disabled in HTML version (it saves progress but not the whole map) but I will check that again.
Sigh. I had all but one island built up, and was nearly done with that, too (probably #10 now)... With the update, most of my islands have been nearly wiped clean, so now I don't have the cash flow to rebuild much of anything.
1st run ever, kill 3 monsters (total time, maybe 1 minute). Time needed to heal before trying again: 6 real time hours. Expected player return time: never.
Please list all the requirements at the same time. 1st visit, click Trout Spot. "Must have Fishing at (5 or 6, I forget) to catch Catfish." 2nd visit, with enough skill now. "Need Feather to catch Catfish." 3rd visit, bringing stack of Feathers. "Need to equip Pine Rod." You know what? I'm on the last quest, to heck with Catfish.
Some book said "Use Greenlight herb only on external wounds." Found a Greenlight herb, and a heavily injured person. Use Greenlight herb? Sure. Turns out you don't bother using it on the wounds, oh no, you have her inhale it, so she dies. Such an obvious result from the listed choices. >.>
"Assign 1 to do (activity)" Great, but what does that activity actually do/cost? Would be nice to know before I reassign someone who was the only one making the product the new activity requires to even function.
Despite normal expectations given the name, slaying spells are actually not exclusive: the spell of Undead Slaying does full damage to any/all enemies. Also, keyboard shortcuts do not function whenever/while a message pop up is visible, such as achievements.
Hum the slaying spells indeed work for all monsters! This is a bug that I'll correct for the next release. Thanks for pointing it out! This release is the first one to feature the spells, so I wouldn't be surprised to find other bugs.
How silly of me! I foolishly thought Gold deposits were for Gold, so I put (HR) Underground Mines on all of them long before I could afford to upgrade Surface Mines to find Platinum with.
Hey it's alright we all make mistakes, and the game still can be very not intuitive at times or just confusing. I am still working on it though and glad to see you figured it out. Thanks a lot for trying out the game and commenting!
How to acquire Platinum? I realize it comes from upgraded Surface Mines, but no location I've ever run my cursor over has yet said it would produce more than 0.00 Platinum.
You should be able to make an average of about one without upgrades on a gold deposit or a hard rock deposit, I will look into this though, and try to fix and balance deposits better as time goes on. Thanks for trying it out and giving feedback!
I keep getting cards for guildian types for which I as yet have none. How do I access those cards to upgrade them, since it looks like they go to waste if I'm already at 2/2 (for example).
