thought there was no way to win until i realized i could build on Empty Field. "just click and you'll figure it out doesn't" always work out. also, that is not an easy badge: it's too difficult AND takes too long to qualify. i appreciate the 8-bit theatre ref though. now where's my option to Magic Missile?
the space station is taking heavy damage? well, no @#$%! so that's why i keep losing turrets, is it? i never would've guessed.... kinda hard to see a blasted thing with this many particles and effects to begin with. kills the fun factor pretty quickly, despite the ever compelling porn beatz. ftr, playing on defence is a pretty great way to get yourself nowhere fast and blasted into atoms with nothing to show for it.
i enjoy games that don't take themselves seriously. i can't imagine this seriously qualifies as a game. it's kinda fun, but extremely luck dependent. it might qualify as a good diversion, but since every level requires multiple tries to get it right... (even if you wait until you have a load of upgrades)... probably not. (ftr, [R] button hotkey. menu restart and button restart not good enough.)
hey. i remember these guys... (and the music, mostly)... anyway, not a fan of the auto-scroller, unless it's a shmup. even if it would take away from the difficulty, it's something that only goes in a platformer every once in a while. still, fun game though.
very, very touchpad unfriendly... actually, more like touchpad hostile, in all honesty. bloody near quit on 25. i swear i must have luck on my side today. ftr, Level 14 is confusing: fortunately, gamer's rage makes you want to shake things in apoplectic rage. for once, it helped.
and here i was thinking it was going to be a complete grindfest like the first one. had the easy badge within minutes. even then, when i finally checked out the old save i saw i had (took me straight to the end, yay), i can't imagine it exactly taking the patience of the prophets themselves to get through this one.
don't try this at home? ...okay. i was only here for the easy badge anyway. i thought the stamp badge, but no. besides, if i have to stand that music for any longer, i might just scream bloody murder.
"build your own block" isn't a bad idea, but when you realize that many stages can be tackled with "sigh. just other ramp trick." you realize that it makes the game far too easy. also, where's the score table?
omg. hardly the best of the series (lacks creativity and often repeats stages from earlier games), but that ending made it all worthwhile. also, liked the alarm clock kicking box's butt. that was... interesting...
fgfredg1, Santa may be another word for saint, but if you rearrange the letters you get "Satan", so it's our duty to save the holiday from the jolly red devil. xD anyway, extra star for the South Park reference, and also for not freezing up my browser for a good long while after i got the flight upgrade, though i still decided to suicide when it finally started to lag even at the slightest (around 3.6x). still, i never mind playing bit of Death Worm / Tremors.
you know, it's unusual that the game throws the final boss at you right after you spiral through enough to earn the final tank. as if to say, "you got the wrong one," i said, "screw you," and Super Tanked his fat arse. still have to all the other buggers afterward though. love the screen shake on the Massive Cannon, despite its limited use.
god, this game is buggy. love listening to the ending music and the battle music at the same time. rofl. on the other hand, one of the easiest hard badges i've ever earned. peace.
