Entered custom name. Worked sometimes, othertimes people called me Emma or PLAYER. Also, this game made me incredibly anxious. Also, also, how were you supposed to put the zero (as in 07:35) in Roman numerals? I couldn't figure that one out.
Easy and intuitive, but fun. None of the puzzles were hard. The coin search took the longest and was not fun. Weirdo art style is usually a good thing, too.
If you can't see the game (black screen with a white dot) that's a Unity bug with Chrome. Use a different browser until the people at Unity and/or Chrome figure it out.
The art style, while interesting, is far too busy. Makes it really difficult to tell what you're looking at half the time especially when there is text. In the few places where there was text, it took me a while to even notice it. There's no depth to anything. It's all flat which is the major problem. Also, who else thinks it's pretty crappy that the girl did all the work and the kid who was dumb enough to get caught gets the reward?
Takes ages to load in Chrome and Chrome isn't rendering Unity properly so I can't play there. Won't load at all in FireFox no matter how long I give it.
Uh. So... what is supposed to happen? All I get is a black screen with a white square and a 1 in the corner. When I click anywhere it makes a sound, but I can't do anything. At all. Nothing.
Got to the end without "losing" by holding PgDn to skip all dialog and make educated guesses at the answers. Even without reading anything it was a breeze. Hopefully the story was worth it for those who actually played it. Not my kind of game, so I skipped though as fast as possible.
Note to my previous comment below, this is only a problem if you have the page zoomed in. If you're having this problem, unzoom your browser window. The game will be tiny and hard to see on large monitors and high resolutions, but you either play on a postage stamp or you can't click on things once the "target" cursor comes up.
So many bugs and the game hasn't been updated in 10 years. Guess there's no hope for fixes now? Can't click the cancel button if I clicked a buff card that I decided not to cast. Nothing happens. Better make sure you really want to use a card once you click on it, there's no turning back.
Well, my game seems to have reverted back to an old save. A really old save. I completed everything on the first island, but I don't think I'm going to replay it all again just to do things on the second island. Oh, well. Was fun while it lasted.
Huh, it's strange that the save reverted - usually, if you lose a save, it's gone completely. But, I have a save that has the boat quest complete, full steel equipment and minimal resources here for sailing to the second island: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/373913524629667845/408850785728987146/sailboat_save.asav
