"Finally, you will be able to buy your TICKET TO EARTH here." Got all the way to the end, clicked the leave button, and there is no "ticket" or "claim" to buy. Just the typical Claim window with no claims. Looks like this still needs some work...
Clicked on every object in starting room. Then clicked on the door to leave: "You need to find your badge before you can leave". Clicked on several objects again and found my badge in a location I had already clicked before. This game design technique is called "padding" and is generally frowned upon as a way to make the game seem longer than it really is or have more "game play". Google "padding in games" if you need more clarification. Glad I don't need this to get my shiny BOTD...
"If there were no obstacles... If everyone could feel true love unhindered... Think of how beautiful the world would be." - Maybe I am old and jaded, but this is laughably unrealistic (as in 'love don't pay the bills'). This past weekend my city had their gay pride parade. One group of LGBTQ protested the parade and tried to stop it to the effect of the police having to pepper spray and arrest several of them. Yes, you read that correctly; an LGBTQ group protested an LGBTQ parade. Where's your real obstacles?
I was like 8 years old when we got the Odyssey 4000. It had eight different "games" on it that were controlled using a slider on the front. You could switch games in the middle of a game and it would still keep the old score. I would switch from tennis to basketball just to mess with him.
So basically, people are complaining about the ending even though it ends on a sad note and the game will obviously be continued. Did you complain about The Empire Strikes Back too? I think I enjoyed the first game better, but this is good enough for me to stay tuned for the next one.
So basically, this is an idle game with a mechanic that pauses the game if you're not actively playing it. What does that tell you about the game play itself?
When did the control set for this game change? My penguin sits there and then falls over no matter what I do. There's no obvious thing to do. I realize many people are achieving things in the is game, but the intuitive factor in this game is zero.
A lot of people are complaining about lag. I don't think it's the game as much as it's the ads you have to watch at the beginning. Task Manager had chrome at almost 1 Gb and 10% processor usage when played normal. I turned on ad block and it's now sitting at 120 Mb and t mind supporting Kong by watching a few ads, but if the ads are breaking the games, then there is a problem.
It's fun until the 4th or 5th board. Then they spam you with more stuff then you can possibly defend against. It might be different if they didn't force you to buy specific upgrades at certain points in the game.
These ads on Kong are freaking killing me. It's common anymore for an ad to play, and then another one start up in the background after I am already playing. In the meantime, memory usage goes up and up while the game gets laggier and laggier.
Looks like it could be fun (although pretty hard at points), but there are some bugs. On level 3, if you are standing next to a glass window, you can shoot through it without breaking it (i.e. the gun pokes through due to bad collision). I have also seen enemy shotgun shot go through walls as well.
When I attack a city with max number of zombies and all of them die, the city takes no real damage. They immediately replenish so that an immediate second attack is just as pointless as the first. I guess the cure is to leave the game open for a few hours so I can have enough money to actually buy the upgrades required to beat the first few cities.
Is Mars the small circle on the radar? Do I have to aim for it on screen? Why do I go past it and then stop at the edge of the radar? Why does the gravity kill switch not kill gravity? This is not a fun game.
