This looked more like a vertical slice than anything. Decently put together, but the puzzles weren't altogether intuitive; too much random clicking required.
Green beer makes you poop funny the next day. I may or may not know about drinking a quart of green food coloring with two gallons of beer over the course of 12 hours. Just an observation. Not a self-incrimination.
Here's a hint to everybody complaining about the grind: Play it like an idle game. Click next day and go do something else for a minute. Also, save up 100 plasma and jump to the red planet. Plasma is everywhere on that one. Then play it like an idle game again...
I think I figured out the secret to this one. since it doesn't pause when you change the window focus, just click launch and then switch to another game, application, or what ever and let it just grind itself out. I'm currently getting about 2000 blocks per launch by treating this grindfest as an idle game.
So the game loaded in half a second. Typically, you play a side game if you have to wait for the game to load, not the tutorial. I'm sure there will be plenty of people wanting to vote this down, but it's less confusing to have the tutorial "in" the game instead of a side attraction.
Oh yeah! Button mashing!!! Goes against every known precept of good game design... Seriously. Google it. Almost as bad as the good ol' Quick Time Event.
Some of the earlier comments mentioned some depth to the story line... I've played through it a few times now, and at best it has the depth of a teen novel. I'm sure my teenage son would enjoy this, but I have a grown up appetite. Good effort though...
So by having a keyboard that for whatever reason, cannot send an up cursor at the same time it sends a down cursor, I am unable to get higher than a bronze on certain songs. Maybe this is a fun game... I'll never know...
The more you know! ;)
