@yogsloth - People are voting you down because you didn't notice the button on the "building you deploy from" menu that allows you to select where they stand.
Okay... I thought it would be really hard to get 24 perfects, but it really just requires a good start on each board. Not too keen on rushing every board, but it is what it is...
Just adding to my earlier comment about badges... Using compatibility mode in IE 9 brought my badges back. Not sure what the difference is, but I know Kong uses the chat interface for badge info. Something hiccuped I guess...
Listen up those who the badges aren't working!!! - Just submit a bug request. I earned some badges last night and they weren't here today. I took a screenshot showing that I was on the 7th mission and still hadn't taken over 10 cities, etc and attached it to the bug report. I would suggest you do the same instead of just complaining in the comments section.
I don't think I am going to bother with "perfects" unless they start giving cars/tanks to my troops. You just can't get them with the AI like it is. I tell my troops to take a city and they have to circle it three times first...
So if I buy FMJ at a terminal, all the ammuniton that I randomly find laying around the station will be a different type than if I didn't purchase it? Interesting...
@ diamondrhino: I disagree. An infrared beam would get stopped by smoke, but it would take an awful lot to stop a laser. Just go to any concert venue where bands use them. Also, you can test this at home using a simple laser pointer you can buy at any office supply shop.
I know this will get thumbed down, but what the heck is she smoking? I quit smoking almost 13 years ago, but never blew out smoke like that. And smoke doesn't stop laser beams, in reality, it actually makes them visible to the naked eye.
Why are people down rating comments that point out that the game elements are literally pulled right out of a movie and that the game mechanics are directly pulled out of another game? Honestly, are that really that many tweenagers on Kong?
I gave it one star just because it was an obvious War of the Worlds (Spielberg) rip off alll the way down to the sound effects. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407304/
I can only imagine how many thumbs down this is going to get, but if Steven Spielberg or Tom Cruise ever see this game, Kongregate and OlegAntipov had better have good legal teams. Sad but true...
I lol'd when I started playing this. Geez...where have I heard and seen imagery like this? And why don't they attack it from behind? Or bother to shoot the legs? And does that thing have arthritis? It sure walks like it does... This game is ok for a bit of a time waster, but not much more.
LoL, nutter! ;-)
