Way too slow. Can't even really give an accurate assessment of the game because I got tired of watching every single move play out in slow motion. Fix that and it might be interesting.
So, the latest in weapons technology involves me swinging my ship around like a drunken maniac to sling a comet at my enemies? Kinda like a ball-and-chain? It gets too hard when the number of enemies starts filling the screen and you still have to wave your ship around everywhere to use your cutting-edge technology sling. Looks pretty, though.
3/5.
Great idea (and fun to play). But, graphics are sh!t and it's kinda buggy. (Ex.: on level 4 with the moving spike blocks, if you jump while in the tiny compartment on the far right, it kills you even though there are no spikes in there.)
3/5.
WTF? Why can't I equip the first f'n weapon that I find? The skill was in blue, but when I tried to equip it, my box is grayed out. F you, game. Suck it.
Fun, but flawed. Sucks starting at lvl 4. If your opponent gets a 2nd restaurant, his overflow customers bypass your restaurant, but when you get a second one, all of your extra customers go straight to his other store, making him money. Cleanup is stupid every 4th turn or so. Burglar alarm is gay. All 3 of these things only apply to the player, and not the opponent. Fix these and the game would at least be even.
What's with the cleaning BS? Is that just to "balance" the crappy AI? Does the opponent get pinged for cleaning every 5th or 6th round, too? If not, then gay.
I'm finding, too, that often it's not a matter of whether or not you have the right weaponry to handle a level, but more about whether you guessed the correct amount of ammo you'd need to survive 30 minute waves of attackers.
Awesome game except for the fact that the character moves waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too goddamn slowly. I'm spending all of my upgrades on speed just so I can maneuver until I have better weapons. Would be 5/5 if not for that.
Really fun until about 6th level or so. Then it justs gets too hard. I agree with the nixing the missile comments along with the poor collision detection.
This game is one of the coolest on Kong except for one thing - the gay-ass platform jumping BS. The controls work fine for everything else but this part which makes it not fun. Everything else about the game is awesome.
Pretty good, but a little repetitive. I think my mouse kind of sucks, too, which makes fine movement somewhat difficult. Polished-looking game, though.
