So...joining a random game throws me into the only existing game where no one's doing anything.
Also: Mochi ads...remove them when uploading to Kongregate (as they're supposed to be disabled here).
Play again button doesn't always work. BTW, I got down to 2 vowles: an A and an I on opposite sizes of a partially removed cube (the I was an original letter, the A was the middle back top cube's right side, one of my early reveals).
1) The only way for the computer to lose is if it bounces the ball from one edge to the other, otherwise it will ALWAYS bounce it nearly strait up.
2) The computer cheats. I was unable to capture a screen shot (not like it'd mean much) but the ball would fall past its paddle, then teleport back up and fly off at a low angle, as if it had hit the edge of the paddle.
3) Not creative in the slightest.
SelfStudy: I did, they're equally destructable by things that KILL IT IN ONE HIT. Or did you miss the fact that all of them were DESTROYED FIRST?!?
To quote myself:
*"They come up and rape my repair towers"*
BTW, I was told by the dev to try out some of the towers I'd missed. I still favor the gatling gun and the missile launcher over EVERY OTHER WEAPON. Shame they can't kill bosses in anything resembling "faster than they kill me." Oh wait, they do twice the damage I do and have 10 times the hit points, gee...I wonder why I lose...
The more I play, trying to find a valid strategy the more I hate the game.
Boss worms that do 10 damage to my structures which have all of 10 to 30 hit points? They come up and rape my repair towers, then my damage towers all while taking almost no damage themselves. Later levels with my initial strategy (gatling gun) would see worms come in and take out two towers, then three the next wave, then the remainder.
Missiles? Raped early and hard (10 hp super damage towers!). Catapults were unreliable, they couldn't hit a worm with an apple even if it was far from the edge of its range.
Sniper tower doesn't do enough damage to live up to its name.
Laser tower doesn't have a "fire here" range to live up to sniping apple-carriers.
Poison tower has no upgrades, making it worthless in the long run.
Ugh. Level 12 seems to be built in such a fashion as to discourage the "ball" to go anywhere resembling "on screen" (that is, every trajectory bounces it out of play).
I remember playing this game before, pretty sure it was on Kong, but this is the full game, the other was just a demo, had everything unlocked (except cities, those unlocked over time) and you played infinitely with no goal. This is actually a decent game.
