The puzzles are very easy to beat but are still fun to beat simply for the fact that cutting stuff up is cool.

A fun game I played all the way through........What conditions determine who shoots first in a fight.........I really like how towns tell us what is cheap and what is in demand. It really quickens the game. Though it does become a bit automatic and repetitive.........The fighting could be made faster. Make BOARDING fights faster or let me do things in the meantime. And I especially wish all the enemy's actions would occur at once...........I am not sure what attacking sails does.

I need to avenge the single life of my sister. And so I killed tens of thousands of people. Though I'm not sure why why a ghost would want a red head (insert ginger soul joke here)

This game is unfair. No, its not hard, its unfair......... Ninjas attack the instant they appear on screen so you have to suffer high damage and there is literally nothing you can do..........I really wish I could buy gear, especially range upgrades. I chose the trench coat Firerate guy so I lived off my minelayer because nothing else works. But the Irish guys fire before they reach the mines so there is basically nothing I can do...........Thank god we get to keep some money even if we lose.

Developer response from GeneralVimes

And what about the sniper rifle? It is a long-range weapon, so, the giants won't survive long.

Best spell is BY FAR force push. After you get the power boost it can kill multiple enemies with a single hit............There are three super spells. One if fire and another is electric, but I don't know what the third one is because even after buying all tele powers I don't unlock it.

I wish I could get further but this game is to CPU intensive for my mediocre PC. But I do have to give praise for the climbing over mechanic because it is subtle and works incredibly well.

The upgrade system and earning stars system works really well. You get stars just for killing things and the upgrades are well balanced and varied. Except there are basically no upgrades for cows....... Starting a wave early is mandatory but the icon is so small and goes away so fast I was forced to just spam my space bar constantly..........The idea for Inferno mode was awesome. It would have been better to get more maps but this is kinda good.........The fact that the game auto saves in case of a crash is a God Sent and every game should have it.

An easy 5/5. This was a really enjoyable game. I beat normal mode with 3 stars a pop and beat most of the inferno levels. Sadly I couldn't even beat some inferno levels at all. I was getting snowed under by wave 4..............The best levels are the earlier levels without gimicky stages that let us build lots turrets where we want. The later levels kinda suck because we only get a few turret locations............Where we can place turrets is kinda off. I would prefer a simple grid clearly showing us where we can put turrets because with the current system I had to restart waves to get the maximum turrets in a spot........ The 4 turrets all have unique functions and have great synergy. If you don't use the turrets correctly you will be punished (which is great)....... The only enemy I absolutely HATED was the pig because they completely neutralize my gorillas and would ruin my 20/20 hearts.

Level 4-8 is really bad. A game should never highlight the fact that you have an unmodifiable jump height by repeatedly smashing into a wall of spikes.............. The best moments of the game were those short burst where your guy falls down really fast and dodge spikes...............Aside from the last world the levels are very well designed, have a lot to explore and are intensely visually appealing. I felt really bad just breezing past most of them to get to the ending...............There were some time when I could not tell if an object was in the background or in the foreground. Resulting in many funny deaths........I really wish my character didn't slide after releasing a move key. It basically makes it impossible to move around spikes.................This game was awesome.

Speaking of DOTA, having enemy minions guarding turret spots was very clever. I would have to find a good time to have my Hero attack them or use a meteor spell or Wind them into a turret. Good stuff. There is very little need for turret variety. I am forced to get 1 wizard tower per lane for ghosts AND NOTHING ELSE and spam archers / soldiers everywhere else. I never once saw a use for or even wanted cannon turrets. And I need just archers/soldiers since there is so little room for turrets that I can't put turrets in even if I wanted to. And since I always want more hero points I can't afford to put point into cannons anyway. It would have been way better if wizards slowed and cannons could be aimed because as it currently is there is no appreciable need for variety or placement

Developer response from LabuGames

Thanks a lot for the detailed review! Funny that you notice, the tower spot guardian is definitely inspired by DOTA :). The ability for wizards to slow enemies is a good & reasonable idea. We'll try this out, and if it doesn't break the game, we'll add this into future update. But, the ability to control swordsmen & cannons is probably too difficult to add at this point. Lastly, Thanks for playing! :)

One of the big flaws with this game is that you cannot control your soldiers. This doesn’t give me any tactics as to where to place them. If the lanes were closer it would be cooler to choose which lane to place soldiers. And my inability to have them attack or ignore golems is a game killer. ………………There are too many branching ladders/caves/nets everywhere. It is impossible to plan for an attack since these assholes could just go any random way. I can’t anticipate where to move my Hero or direct a meteor strike. It is very annoying………………Again, the Hero character is very cool and the fact that he gets a spell is also cool. One way to make the game cooler would be to have a smaller area and let us control 2 or 3 heros at the same time. That way the player will be forced to think ahead and split / regroup their heroes. Like a mini DOTA game

One thing that would greatly improve the Hero would be to let him climb any wall so he can get from lane to lane faster. Let him climb any wall, or give him special vines to climb or just give him a jetpack. The wide camera area sounds like a cool idea but it has some serious problems. Mainly that I would be focusing on one area and not notice a giant moving thru another lane. I can’t get a complete tactical view…………… To go with the small camera is the fact that there are too many lanes……………….When there are three lanes that are very far away and they all get hit equally hard so I can’t focus my turrets or Hero in any strategic manner so I am forced to just throw turrets everywhere. Having 1 lanes (maybe 2 nearby lanes on a special occasion) would be way better because I could focus my spells, turret synergy and Hero. Having up to 5 middle lanes is fine but there should funnel into only be 1 or 2 exit lanes

This game has a lot of potential and I really wanted to like it but it has some serious problems that made me rage quit at the 70% mark............. The ghosts are HORRENDOUS. Oh my god they are terrible. The only way to kill them is with a wizard tower or my hero. The hero is so slow and stupid though that it is unreliable. And wizard towers are very expensive and don't hurt golemns. There is not enough increase in DPS. As such I am forced to place wizard turrets on every lane and it is annoying................ Until you get the range upgrade the archers/wizard towers can't hit units delayed by soldiers........................I really liked the Hero. It was cool moving him around and watching him kill things. But even after he got speed upgrades he moves too slow to be effective. I kinda just got fed up with him and ordered him to attack giants so I wouldn’t have to deal with him. And since the stage is so big I could lose track of / forget about him easily

Godda say, the inability to control my soldiers is a game killer. Instead of holding off a swarm of 20ish skeletons they could easily defeat they instead climb a turtle. Since my spells are on cool down I instantly lose the game on wave 25 of 31 and I almost crush my device.

Protip: the Skeleton gun is the best gun in the game. It can hit multiple enemies, can hit a single enemy many times and don't obscure the screen. It is basically mandatory for the last level.

The guns are cool, but sometime they are so flashy that I cannot see what is going on onscreen.............Enemies in "nests" are horrendous. Since bullets delete themselves when they hit the edge of a screen it is sometimes impossible to hit them and you take damage..............Overall, I had a good time with the game and finally beating that last boss gave had a powerful feeling. Not of glee at beating the odds (since the odds are bullshit and don't requires skill per-say), but more like getting my car to actually turn on. The enemies were cool and all had their own little tricks. And seeing former bosses be straight up common minions was really well done. This was a fun game.

The "wave" levels just straight up suck. Enemies spawn within you so it is impossible to not get hit and enemies can basically shoot around the platforms. The first waves are to easy and slow and take an eternity to slog through and then the last waves are hard. And sometimes enemies respawn after killing all the enemies on screen withing a wave, which completely contradicts the idea of a wave...................The guns are cool and have unique purposes. Or rather, they should. The weapon stats listed are flat out wrong since the labels are confusing and a single bullet can hit an enemy multiple times in a system I don't understand at all. The Skeleton key for example has the highest DPS out of any gun even though it shouldn't.
