A really simple but fun game. I like how the bosses all look unique and have personality. And how all the attacks are easy to understand and see. But between my bullets and the money it cn be hard to see the enemy bullets. And there should have been some kind of cool final explosion for the last boss. I really wanted that.
A damn good game. 5/5. The units area all cool and make sense. The spells and the rods that go for them are easy to identify and understand. I only managed to beat 3 worlds before my flash crashed and I lost all my data. One of the best thing that can be done to improve the game would be to hold units back. I want to build up a good number of mages but they kept running ahead of other units and dying so I kinda had to stop using them. The ability to order specific units to retreat, stand their ground and advance would be a HUGE improvement and would allow me to strategize a bit. And why are the buy/equip menus slowing down my computer?
In Arnold's voice: "good night moon".-------------------------------A really fun game. One of the best tips to give is to NEVER upgrade your health. Eventually you will run out of gas and it takes forever to fall down, and the fastest way to go down is to lose all our health. If there is another game there should be a self destruct button for when we want to end a run. And we should always be able to change the angle of our gliding.
WHOOO Yea. This was a fun game. The desire to dig deeper is very fun.
But I did feel the last mission should have some challenge. A boss fight, a puzzle, the floor is flooding with water, anything.
5/5 and favorited. I like the sense of speed. But sadly there is not much skill per say. You have no meaningful interactions other than not hitting the side on tight turns. The rest is basically just fun cruise control.
Why Am I Not Allowed To Fly the T-Rex? What did I ever do to you. ---------------- As always a really fun game. I wish there was more ammo, but the limited ammo might be for the best. When I am going fast I was having a lot of fun.
Good stuff but it is over way too fast.
And I don't know what mana does exactly.
If you decide to make a sequel make it so that you can move very simple army units against an enemy who can change the terrain. And we can see where the environmental changes will happen.
Very nice.
You should release a "super" version of this game where the story is you have to fight a super virus and every "level" is a different scope of magnification. Start of the size of the solar system->planet->continent->small country->city->house->human->rat->flea->cell-> boss fight with virus.
Nothing special, keep the current enemies and just a new background.
I want to like this game. But it is way too hard to judge the distance.
If you press delete it will put a cog back to the panel, and it will delete the spoke you can place cogs on.
I can understand the desire to monatize a franchise but even disregarding the free to play game aspects (which I am not that fond of) it is still not nearly as good as #3 #4 #5. Easily the biggest problem is that you have absolutely no control of your units. In previous games I could hold position to amass a force, retreat and get a kick out of ordering a big assault. Now everyone just auto runs. Terrible. The other games required grind, but this one was EVEN WORSE. There is way too much grind. And the in-combat energy bars are HORRIBLE. I have to jump between summon/attack/summon and forever. It is so annoying, counter-intuitive, not fun and basically have no strategy/skill. Once I figured out a good rhythm I basically forgot I was playing a game.
Final Boss: Are you man enough to beat me. Fire Lady: No, am a woman made entirely of fire! Eat Barbarialand! Final Boss: Oh shit I am dead. ///////////// A really fun game. I like how you get new units frequently and how in later levels the basic stuff is already set up. Nice ending too.
Um, oops.
On mission 13 I thought it was like the end of some games (like Halo: Reach) where you are not meant to win and are supposed to just hold on. So after a minute I thought the game was over and ended it.
Only upon playing the game a second time I found out that you can beat the level and beat more levels.
Really awesome. I like how even though it was a tower defense I had a sense of choice and a need to pay attention to what was going on.
Hurray that there were no flying units (those suck so much) and that instead for different enemies we get the high health units which is awesome as it is easy to understand and not mess up your build order.
And that's how its done. The best levels are the ones where I quickly have to switch between both screens to beat a level. Especially when I can tell that I need to switch between them.
I kept waiting for the level where the left screen starts moving to the right and I have to run away.
Good stuff. I like how most enemies stay along the upper lane, making it hard to shoot the purple box but allowing me to line up tons of shots against enemies for money.
But overall it feels kinda rushed in some areas. Especially the fact that there is no ending of any kind.
This game also needs one small change that would make the game way better: have the space button be the "enter" button rather than the actual enter button. It is way too obscure to press enter every second while the space button is closer and more natural for faster typing.
This game NEEDS a sequel.
This game was really fun, but it was too easy, too linear and too simplistic.
You should have the main character roam around different terrains: the terrain of long words, the terrain of random letters, the terrain of short words worth little mana, etc.
The ability to level up allowing us to make mistakes (or be less punished for failing). Or the ability to mess up 1 letter.
The ability to summon different units and give them buff is REALLY awesome, but here there is one best choice every level: strong-armored-special is totally unstoppable. Different enemy units with different defenses would be awesome. Long range siege units, freezer units, armor-piercing units, healers, buffer, guys that remove enemy mines, shield carrying guys, etc.
And the option for Brits to change "armored" to "armoured". Or whatever they say.
5/5 Stellar again. I like the sister, she was cool and had a nice story line.
But again, something is too taxing and even on low quality the game slows down a bit.
Sorry for the not so great ending.
