I don't know if the ending is just a lame blue screen of if the game glitched.
A fun game but it needs more 'depth' and mechanics. And some kind of elevator system / super pump because the trip up and down took minutes and I just read a book.
And while I am swimming and my guy jumps and hits the ceiling he should not be just flung at mach 10 to the bottom.
I do like how it is really easy to see which treasure is more valuable.
A fun game. With the most laudable aspect being the constant and high quality voice work which creates a good sense of atmosphere and more character immersion.
But the game really needs to be streamlined. My zombie's stats should be listed on the side at all times. Each items effects on zombies should be listed very clearly rather than have to use the item and maybe mess up my zombie. It would be nice to rotate between zombies as some have good stats and I only need a small change. And after a certain point research should be instantaneous.
And what was up with that ending. The story was so good but then "I have no more objectives" really makes all the progress of the last days pointless (I gave up after that and didn't try to get the other research stuff).
The difficulty is kinda annoying. Way way way too often I find myself randomly getting hit by shrapnel which is bullshit since it is so random, undodgeable and take so long to go away.
Very fun game. Not too easy and not too hard. But I were into the score system them I would have been annoyed by the constant 99% as it is almost impossible to get it even if the general line up is perfect. One small improvement would be to have a key to remove the last terminal and another key to remove all terminals.
I hope we get a sequel later.
That ending: son of a bitch. I did no see that coming.
If you decide to make a sequel make it so that the bad guy sends minions who can stun the player and his buddies. So the player and a few of his buddies will have to defend the 'workers'.
Very fun game, but level 19 was annoying because getting a grip on the handles is too hard to due in such a short time. I like how gravity changes are easy to see and predict.
A really fun game that I managed to beat all the way through. Interesting last level where you don't "fight".
Tips for players: mix up your strategies alot. Sometimes go early figher bay and get missile ships (they kill enemy ships easily). Sometimes go high energy build and get nothing but reactors (and upgrade them) and gauss canons (they cost little minerals, but decent energy if you have lots of reactors. ). The best way to counter spores is to get the autogun since it has a high rate of fire. If you have to build turrets and they keep missing, place them perpendicular to their flight path so that they stay within the 90 degrees of the turrets arc. When you become a spore guy start infecting the enemy early.
2.3 best way to win: build 2 reactors and a spaceport and get missile ships. Make sure the main base upgrade is supply. Eventually build around 2 starports.
One of the better puzzle games out there. They were hard, but I never felt like the solutions were esoteric. Except for level 24. I beat it by 'pushing' the green button to the left and then dropping it down. Then I dumped the monster on the lowest level and he tripped both triggers one after the other and won the level.
Watching the walkthrough though was bogus because nobody would think that the monster can push green blocks.
The easy way to win on normal is to buy a row of knife-pistols. Then mass Rifles/shotguns and delete all the knife-pistols. After you have a full board of rifle/shotguns make the first 3 rows miniguns. All this time have the first 2 rows full of barb wire (start early so that you get every square. )
A really fun game.
HOLY FU#KING BALLS, the health bar goes down way too fast, and the blocks take way way way too bloody long to push. Brutally slow. This turned the otherwise fun and challenging puzzles, into frustrating and rage worthy. And the "walk to live" concept is just plain stupid. It is takes minutes to push a block because (on top of being slow), I have to walk around in circles. NOT FUN. And this mechanic is only used in a fun way in some spots, but most of the time it is not fun. A simple poison cloud that you have to hold your breath for would have been much more fun.
Otherwise it is a fun game. Special credit must be given to the voice actor, because he is perfect.
really fun game. but the coding is shoddy, way too often my game would slow down dramatically, and all my other applications are running at full speed. And for the starting and ending cinematic I though the 'skip' button was the 'next' button so I missed both cinematics.
But the sense of speed and power is really nice. Especially when I hit for 200X combo and then do a special on the slow moving brutes and kill three of them.
Probably one of the best 'artsy' games every made. It had solid style and a really well worked in theme that made sense storyline wise and gameplay wise. The obstacles were really cool because they symbolize "we have to work together" and the spikes probably represent "the pitfalls of a relationship". The puzzles were never that hard for me, but they are perfect difficulty for light gamers. The only thing that I didn't get was the ending. Did my character ever hurt the other one in any way?

A really fun game considering how basic it is tech wise. I like the early time puzzles where you have to look over the whole map and figure out the correct path in a short time frame far far more than later levels where I was just running though a less interesting maze.
But where is the mute button?
jumping underwater into a ceiling does sound like a bug. I'll check that out. thanks!
