Those trolls are such trolls. Everything seems to go wrong when I fight one, from "omg why did -that- hit hit harder than the one before it?" and "Why did she let him hit her 3 times while she only struck him once?" invariably leading to a death while holding a potion. :P
Attention players seeing the 'gold buyable pack' advertisement: This new pack is buyable with 60,000 gold, which is SIX TIMES as much as the most expensive previous 'gold-buyable' pack. If you are new to this game, you will NEVER be able to buy this pack unless you play this game for a few months, and then you only get 6 cards which have a high chance of being crappy anyway.
So, feedback/glitches time. 1: A few of my quest items don't seem to go away after completing the quest. Still have the wolf pelt/and w'something's ring. 2: Just had an enemy alive with 0 hp. Another hit killed him, but I still don't think it was your intent to have enemies with 0 hp acting like everything's fine. 3: Not a bug, but having two warriors who both have the 'slam' skill is overpowered. My enemies are lucky if they even get to fight back, much less put up a good fight.
To change your skills, click on the skill you want to remove on the hotbar, then click on the skill in your skill tab that you want to replace it with. Feel free to + this if you find it helpful. Also while we're here, the easiest way to farm souls is the first arena match since it's 10 fights in a row for 10 souls.
So maybe have enemy buffs expire eventually? It's pretty tough taking down a dragon that regenerates 4k hp every turn and has a shield on. More like, without grinding, it's just not going to happen unless I kill it before it gets a chance to use both of those.
schwarz1990, there are also a couple of water weapons, and you can throw some sort of bubbles to do water damage too, but yeah there's no solid water spell.
Would be great if there was some way to give specific commands to specific party members, at least to the extent of "run away, you're making me waste all our potions on you". Also a tip for people just starting out - click on all of the random dungeon objects like suits of armors and bookshelves since they can drop amulets and potions. Yes, even the cracks in the wall count.
You can taunt the monsters to stop them attacking a weaker character, and your friends will use potions to heal themselves (if you let them grab a few). I had more complex controls (group up, explore, stop fighting, wait) but all the testers said it was too hard.
Tip for finding the extras, almost anything that gives a description when you hover it can be searched by clicking when you're near it - shackles are probably the hardest thing to see.
Only a 3.63 so far? This is a pretty awesome game, it should at least be in the 4 range. There's plenty of challenge, content, and variety. Great job, keep up the good work, and I hope this game gets the score it deserves.
If the last level had 25 turns of survival instead of 20 I would've bombed all the manholes before it ended (only 5.5 done while sprinting to each one with the gernadier). This is a fun game, but leveling up is a bit too quick and easy, and characters become pretty OP at higher levels with all of those upgrades. I'd really enjoy a longer game with slower leveling and more tactical playing.
Just as bench says, I tried rogue first and found the game to be quite easy with it. Only issue happens when you run into other quick foes and you aren't expecting them.
If making it broken is your idea of 'improving the market'... but yeah, I can't buy or sell anything since this apparent update, when everything was working fine this morning. Also I've been playing rogue on softcore and have been getting through the game fine with 0 grinding (minus a little bit when I died at the mage and ran myself out of potions/forgot upgrades cost money + stones). If anyone's curious about my build, it's 1-1-2 (then 1-1-3) and 5% speed per levelup, armor upgrade priority as torso>gloves>boots, gold ring>exp ring>crit amulet. I also regularly sell extra potions at the shop, since I don't use them either outside of boss fights.
Or, TO DEFEAT HARD MODE ANCIENT FEAR: Last Flake with 5 regen/200 HP. If you have her around max health at the start of the fight, you can just slowly take ancient fear apart. It'll take a while, but there's pretty much no way to lose.
Best way I found to deal with minotaurs (charming aside) is turn invisible and fireball them from a distance. I got greedy once and got one-hit by them (again), and beat the game with null stats shortly afterwards by sticking to what works - 2 invis spells and fireball, along with rage so I wouldn't completely fall behind in speed.
That was a well-made and entertaining game. Unfortunately I had to check the walkthrough at the very end, to discover a certain level that had done nothing up to that point now did something quite unexpected. Anyway, keep up the good work!
All bugs on their way to being fixed!
