A nice and pretty well done game, but not quite to my taste to read so much text and story. I basically skipped most of the text. Because of that I would rate it at 3 in terms of 'overall enjoyment' but because of the pretty original story, decent graphics and good effort, I rate it at 4.
I'm not that much into cardgames but Tyrant sure was one of the best and the only I have stuck to for any longer amount of time. It obviously had its flaws and felt rather outdated, but if this ccg cannot make it, I wonder how the other ccgs on kong are doing.
Nice, simple and addicting, but it lacks balance and something that makes it fun. After not too long, you start to get upgrades costing something like 300 Qa for something giving 100 % boost to a building producing income in millions, which probably is around 0,005 % of your total income... it makes no sense with these upgrades that give nothing back but cost a ton. Also, even if it's an idle game, I think there should be some variation to either click the chest or not... There are magics but it's still just a big click-fest, where you require an auto-clicker of some sort, or you won't get anywhere in this game.
While it's a challanging and interesting concept, it's not a game I feel like investing the amount of time in for some unknown reward. I wish there were some more smaller rewarding moments. It just feels like you have to do pretty much the same thing over and over, just move to next computer and read the mails etc., then next. It just feels to stale for a game that you might want to go in a few mins now and then to enjoy. It requires too much commitment for my taste, even though I really like programming, logic puzzles etc. myself.
Nice and addicting, but it lacks balance at certain points. The step from exe to scp, and especially from 666 to 777 is way too big. There should be some step in between. Also, once you reach 777, it's very slow onwards. It's also rather unclear how the chips are obtained. It says in instruction you get them from memory, but not how much or how. Also the multipliers does nothing to exp gain, and the memory increase is very useless compared to how much it costs. Getting 1 or 1000 TB makes no difference at all when you have incomes of NeaBytes or something else big.
While the idea is "funny"/fun, the actual gameplay isn't very fun at all. It becomes extremely repetitive and frustrating even after just a few lvls. I often end up with the mouse outside the game border, making e.g. the kong menu show up and overlay on pretty much the whole game screen. So, while the concept is "humours", the gameplay is just a "drag party", in this case click and drag.
I hate games where the RNG isn't working... It says 70% or even 95% hit chance... but I miss like 3 times in a row... I know this can happen even on real random even if it was 99+% chance, but seriously, this is broken. Also the battles are so slow. And I don't understand the reason to even count or end the days. If there's no penalty for taking long, then it's just a nuance to keep going back until you searched 100%. Sure you can refill on stocks/heal etc, but you usually don't have to do that so often. OK concept but bad execution.
I like the concept but there are many "unknown" mechanics in this game, at least on a first playthrough. Getting the first 2 badges isn't hard but the last one where you have to achieve a Perfect First Year, is pretty tough. I don't like that the enemies don't seem to have any HP bars so you don't know which to focus (especially in tournament). I think there could be more information on what the different classes do, quest/rating differences and how the distribution of e.g. LP is done. It says I have earned like 2000+ but only my highest student seem to get that, rest get much less. I don't like the concept of having to keep leveling the students in a rush and getting rid of them. Feels like I cannot commit to any of them. Upgrading weapons is really weird as well, it's not very clear what it does, except the obviously expected "they get stronger". Nice concept but not so good execution. 3/5.
Recovery time is just way too long. I know it can be upgraded but until it's maxed the game is a big bowl of frustration. Hitting one of those saws or getting hit by some laser and it's game over...
Would be nice with some indication of how many stars you will get if you finish the level. I don't see any explanation right now what the stars mean. Getting 0 hits is at least not requirered to get 3 stars, so it's not that difficult. Level 9 is the hardest level, got 1 star on first try and I went back later after first try 3 staring Level 10, and got 3 stars on all levels. I guess if you start using magic you do have a bit easier progress. But it wasn't hard to get 3 stars in all levels, just "time consuming" (not that long but not exactly that high skill requirement, just holding button and alternating weapons). Music is too repetitive and so is the gameplay after a while. Otherwise nice concept and artwork. Could have been good with more information though. It feels really weird that the archers doesn't aim for dragons but I guess it makes some sense for the gameplay and making it more difficult. 3/5
Quite nice concept but leveling up doesn't make you feel any stronger and having to restart all the way from start is kind of annoying since the first half is mostly a time consumption. Also I don't get why there is high score when it's obviously RNG (random) whether you actually get "enough" multipliers during a run. If their positions were fixed it would be another story. High score is usually useless and irrelevant to satisfaction of gameplay anyway though. As some have mentioned this is more about the platforms than the monsters, perhaps this could be balanced using some kind of trick, similar to Shield in function, that allowed you to hang on to a cliff edge and get up again. 3/5
Quite nice but there's a bit too much RNG to it; sometimes you get very easy paths but other times you get a curve after another. Getting all badges isn't that hard, but it was kind of weird that I unlocked 1000 starting speed (on hard of course) before getting the hard badge... Something seems wrong about that. A strong 3/5 because it's fast paced and simple (no need for explanation but "hard to master"). Not a 4 because of RNG, slightly repetitive and badge problem.
Like the artwork and overall gameplay. It's well made, but the weapons could need some balancing. There's almost no reason at all to get anything but the Plasma Bombs, and for aircraft it's pretty much a forced choice as well to get the Triplane. After that, money is useless and there's no variation at all. Really wish there was more endgame upgrades, and in the beginning a bit less grinding. I have understood afterwards that "grinding" on the frenetic is a faster way than normal but well, I still don't like the grinding for money in the beginning. Tips for new players: Get 3 slot aircraft fast, and get almost any other weapon than machine guns, and 2xmoney printers. After that and advancing a few levels you will get around 5k+, even 20k+ at lvl 10+, per run you do, even if you fail some. Only level 20 made me have to repeat for progress, even if I had full meteor and later plasma bomb. Meteor is much weaker than it looks on numbers.
Just like nesira is saying, I also finished this before the badges... now they don't seem to appear... I really don't feel like completing this all over again. The levels around lvl 30 are just so frustrating.
Really just a button-masher game... spamming X to finish 22 challanges and all other badges, is all that's needed. I like the artwork but other than that, this game lacks almost everything. One major thing is that the Kick doesn't do anything in terms of hitting enemies... had tons of horses all over and kick didn't land on any of them. Spamming X or alternating X and Z is much "better". Game has potential but the way it is now it is very poorly executed. Also the lag introduced after a few fights is pretty ridiculous, even if that's probably Flash's fault mostly, and a reload is enough to fix it. Good artwork but rest is just nono. I cannot give this more than 2/5.
So I'm searching a gun store and some other store... and I find no weapons? How is that even possible... isn't this suppose to be in the USA? Should be guns in the baby bottle store.
That's rather strange... Will refreshing the page help?
