Where is the rewind button? Seriously, pixel perfect stone placement... so annoying. Like many have pointed out, there's plenty of room but no... CPU got anti-stone-coating-spray on.
It feels like I have been playing for ages and I'm only at 19 of 40 lvls... seriously... this game is way too long, if it even can be called a game. This is just frustration and one solution pixel perfection, not fun. Even following a guide this takes ages... and that's for no fun and a medium badge... Yeah, this isn't a good "game". 2/5
Kind of funny of this detective calls in like 5 suspects and the only thing he called them in for currently was to get a mix of left and right handed, and some random occupations, everything else is unknown.
Really like how the game is well made, fun and causal. Fast progression and easy farming gifts on level 7. Barely and grinding needed and no 100 repeats of same level needed either. A fun and short experience. Has a satisfaction to it when you play and lots of stuff happen/combo on the screen, even if it's easy. Would have been a worse experience if it actually was more tricky. Very clear artwork/graphics as well, something many games lack or pay less attention to. 4/5 from me.
How the hell are there so many moths out there? When they start coming it's a click fest that you cannot keep up with. Only way is if you already have holes in your net, otherwise the whole net is gone when they start clogging up. Pretty cool concept otherwise but the "difficulty" curve is way too steep. First it's pretty causal, then suddenly you are overrun and the whole net is gone in one go... wtf is that about.. 3/5 for the concept, but bad execution and balance.
I understand a zombie/"horror" game being dark, but I don't think whoever came up with the idea of putting darkred text on black/red background was very clever to start with...
I really don't understand why people rate this so high. Sure it's pretty well made, but to be honest, the game is a mess. It's so cluttered and complex with skills, talents, exp, level ups, heroes, equipment, way too many strengths/weaknesses/unit types, bad/inconvenient UI, hard to read text etc... It's just too much stuff, and too confusing. I liked the older Protector games (and TD games in general); I played, I think it was, the first one a lot (and enjoyed it). This version I cannot enjoy even the least. Maybe I'm doing something wrong because I get pretty much steamrolled on many of the levels even if I try to match weaknesses etc. But there's much more than that, that makes me dislike this. Keeping things simple is usually a good thing, and this game is just anti-simple in every way. 2/5, sorry.
A good upgrade over version 1 of this game but still some flaws. This time perhaps more about balancing (BT1 was harder/longer, but sticky enemies are very strong unless heavy upgraded) and upgrades sometimes being worse than previous upgrades. BFT #1 seemed like the best to me, you just went in, hit space and had missiles destroy most things. Then I got #2 which just gave me a short range stun... I'm sure it has it's applications but I didn't find it better in any way. Then I got the Carrier BFT, which maybe was a bit better than #2 since it sent out a few ships seeking out enemies. But they were so weak and slow compared to missles, so once again worse than 2 upgrades ago. Otherwise nice artwork and concept. 3/5 but a stronger 3 than on BT1.
Really nice concept but just not having an auto-fire on holding mouse and perhaps some save system, mini-map and some variation of weapons would be like the first thing to do to improve this game. All of these things are noticeable within a few minutes of playing, and still the dev hasn't done this? I don't think the developer has played his own game in this case, and that's sad. 3/5 for a good concept+artwork but bad execution.
I really like the concept of this game, but I think the execution is pretty flawed. All from the UI, control of units, wait time to plot missions.... it just doesn't add any good to the game. Also it's many unknown elements like how much income buildings actually add, of course you can check this in the natural income yourself... and then there's the henchmen (no info about them either); health bars could be useful, and, again, control of them. Much could have been designed so much better to give a better overview and quicker execution of orders/missions, or multitasking overall. 3/5 for the concept.
Becomes too time consuming and too much of the same very quickly. The concept is pretty OK but 40 levels of this thing is just too much. At least I got all the badges, but I don't feel enough satisfaction to give this more than 2/5, almost a 3.
Really like the concept and the logic in programming. I cannot however enjoy this very much. The complexity curve is just going through the roof very quickly and to no real satisfaction. I ended up using a guide for most levels just to get the hard badge. I could probably have finished it without it, but it would have taken an enormous amount of time, which I do not want to spend on this. I really wish there was some extra element to this game that made it actually fun and more rewarding, even if not finding the correct solution right away. Some levels do have a very narrow range of solutions, which while having the complexity is just making this very time consuming and not much fun at all. 3/5 for the concept.
Really like the concept. I wish it was a bit more polished in terms of UI and e.g. showing which function/command is currently executing etc. Also would be good if you could doubleclick commands to add them to main lopp or something. Was able to solve all of the levels anyway though. Level 10 and 12 were probably hardest but not that difficult. On last level I used recursion (f1 called f1) in the end and managed to beat it =D Luckily all (infinite) commands didn't have to execute for the win trigger to occur/be checked. Was going to suggest a sequel but I now see there is already a Lightbot 2.0. This could have been a bit more polished but concept is good. A strong 3/5, almost 4.
wtf, on the level where there was like a grid of many rectangles both small white and shadowy, I expected that I was suppose to put them together somehow, at least on of them, using 4 small in 1 shadow big. But nono, wasting like 5-10 mins on it, it seems like you are suppose to just align it into a symmetric pattern, where white+shadow don't touch at all... annoying.
Artwork is good.... that's about it... seriously one of the worst and most frustrating gameplay-wise I seen in some time now. I try to attack things but I just shoot left and right ending up outside of screen. Attacking is the worst part of this. Also when you get hit you often land out of screen or into some pit that instantly kills you... Tried this game just for Badge of the day but yeh, no way I'm playing this. It has potential but it fails on almost every level. As I didn't like it at all and it made me give up on it within a few mins, I cannot give this anything but 1/5.
