I think if a sequel were to be made, there could be some improvements, most of which have already been mentioned. I think that if you were to make a sequel, my personal recommendation would be to have it half-TD and half-shooter. The reason is the storyline of this game. At the end of this game, you have the main character passing through onto Earth, so if you made a sequel, keeping it a shooter would be rather difficult. If you had it part-TD, it would be as though you are "Defending" the convoy and artifact (As well as Earth) rather than "Escorting" the convoy. Just my two cents.
@kevin_saz What level are you? I had assumed that you were 66+ or something, but if you're talking about killing demons and demon bosses, maybe I should think differently. Btw, crazyrednecked was an "Experiment" alt of mine, so that was me too ;P
Can somebody explain how a completely infected country can send a boat/plane to an uninfected country, only to have that boat/plane NOT bring the infection there?
PRO TIP: It is not necessary to get all four basic skills maxed right away. It is only necessary to max the attacks, and then one of the defenses. The one that you have both attacks and defense maxed will be your main attacking skill, so for example if that was Low Bolts, and you attack with low bolts, then THEY attack with low bolts, you have your maxed low defense bolts to help, and when they attack with high bolts, you attack with high bolts, etc. Of course, if you really want to you can max all four out later, but if you want to save skill points when you don't have many of them earlier in the game, this is a good tip. It is also very useful for the Young Mage competition.
I love this game for its ability to make be beat the game 6 times, then play again, then find a different ending or find something I haven't found before, then try to get every possible title (There are a few you can't get, because doing one action causes you to get one title, and doing another action causes you to get another title, like Grave Robber and Defender of the Dead)
I think it would be cool to have a list of daily badges, like the daily badge for today, or previous ones if you just wanted to complete those as well (That goes up to like a week old or some such). Just a suggestion.
@Mister_Box Every single mob in the demon gates is 100% the same. There's no difference whatsoever. The bosses are slightly different in stats, but they're all just about the same as well.
1: Use all red coins for 10 days on Progress Boxes and get about 750 of them. 2: Use the cards "Double Exp" and "Double Coin". 3: Click progress boxes like mad. 4: Watch your progress bar get up to the thousands. 5: Sit back, and enjoy the leveling. I did this just to see how many progresses I could stack at one time, and got to just over 7500 of them by the time I was done clicking (I should have waited 5 more days and gotten over 9000 progresses at once, damn!), and even though I was level 1275 or something like that, I jumped to almost 1350 in seconds.
Can anybody tell me anything about that purple number above "Repair" on the button machine? All I know is that it increases with each perfect click, but I've yet to find an update that describes it.
I think there's a glitch in the game. I beat the game in 11 days or less, but yet through those 11 days I didn't manage to kill 100 enemies? Did I really just get the hard badge BEFORE the easy one?
In my opinion, Clade is the most annoying boss. She ended up using her skill that causes you to use random skills of yours, and it ended up taking my bonus lock away, which caused me to get a fusion fire 'upgrade'. I ended up losing against her when I tried to go to her side to use Psion Wave, and her ship's design trapped me in the corner until I died.
@gabbert10 A robot is actually not the best way to go. The best free allies you can get are the cat, the priestess, and the phoenix. These have heals and some have block, so it's usually the best option. After that, you can get the Demon Wings for free by opening a demon gate with an orb. (There's one other you can get for free, but that's a long ways away :P)
There needs to be some way to see your current score. I don't want to die on survival mode because I don't know if I have 30,000 yet. Although I suppose having $30,000 is a good way to tell I'm close ;P.
@AkashKakanwar When a weapon or armor has 21 or more enchantments on it (+105 for swords or staffs, +116 for guns, and +21 for any armor or ring), and it is in your inventory (Not equipped), you will see a "Fusion" button. Clicking that button lets you choose what you want to fuse to and tells you how much you'll get out of it (You can cancel a fuse if you change your mind, though). Fusion works like this: You'll keep 90% of your enchantments, minus 2% for the level difference between the two levels, and then minus 5 flat enchants (So if you are going up a standard tier [4 levels] and you have 25 enchantments on your weapon, let's just say it's a sword, this is what would happen: x (# of enchants you'll get) = (90 - 8)% - 25, or 82% - 25. 25 enchantments on a sword is +125, so it would be 82% of 125 (102.5, rounded to 103) - 25, or 78 enchantments left over. This is an example fusion.) I don't really know how to describe it a different way.
@Roxas Area 2 of a town features some area one mobs, area 3 features area 2 mobs, and so on. If area two happens to be a post-game area, but area three isn't, and you go to area three, and you get a mob in area three that is in the now-post-game area two, that mob will be the level of area two, not area three.
