One of the worst concepts in all games - the mage tower loses ALL its firing power frequently. If it shoots at an enemy that dies before the "bullet" arrives, it has wasted it's entire load. Absolutely 0 AI to compensate for the idiocy. What should be a 4/5 is a 1/5.

Horrific physics - 1 pixels is a huge difference in behavior. Completely buggy, I see "cuts" on the screen that don't do anything. The mouse falling off the viewport is a brutal design flaw. And the concept of having to make quick cuts is beyond bad design. Other than that, really clever. 1/5

Who doesn't love repeating the same behavior over and over and over from the very beginning And for arbitrary rules (the man can't jump with a replica on his head?) 1/5 The one is for uniqueness.

How do you create a badge for a metric that isn't even tracked? Interesting concept, but each level is too long. 2/5

I took away that extra point. The hard badge is asinine. Not because of its difficulty, but because they send 1,000's of dime guys. Moronic. This was an immature game - clearly incomplete. 2/5 And that's pretty fair for its glaring flaws, poor implementation, obviously incomplete upgrade metaphor but unique aiming mechanism.

Not a bad concept, but hurt by a few, major avoidable flaws. Having the enemy merely "appear" in the middle of the screen immediately loses the game 2 of 5 stars. You can be avoiding 100 bullets, but if the game decides where you're headed an enemy will appear, you're going to hit. And, the move off the screen issue is unavoidable, yet still a major flaw. 2/5, but I'm feeling generous, so 3/5.

The idea that you can go backwards so many steps and yet have to re-endure their awful animations is beyond ludicrous, it's infuriating.

Clever game until it took me back two steps. Then it became a 1 star. Developers: NOBODY LIKES DOING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. It's neither clever, nor creative.

A moronic concept. Terrible balancing. Awfully grindy. Brutally buggy (I've hit 109 MPH, and still not been given the badge). Inconsistently programmed. And a paywall of boredom. Well done, hit most of the high notes for junk. 1/5

Even as mundane, repetitive launching games go, this one is far too mundane and repetitive. I feel I'm losing IQ points as I smash two buttons for 75 seconds after trying to launch perfectly once. What passes for games today is embarrassing. 2/5

These click to disappear games just reek of BS to me. The computer-generated board dictates the level. There's very little strategy, it's really just luck of the board. Would have been far better with a match-3 concept. Which somewhat has the same problem, but your level isn't determined at the beginning and you're stuck. Also, far too grindy and the level-up metaphor takes too long. 2/5 and I won't stick around for the medium badge.

Ummm, once the pink guys found me they immediately sunk my boat. I was mildly interested at first, but found the waiting for the fish to get reeled in quickly got boring. Seems like the idea of a fish attacking the boat and the 3rd level of fish that ran away at lightning speed might not have been a bad idea, if not OP'd. Anyway, while I like games where you improve yourself, this one seemed like too slow a start to captivate me without a badge attached to it. Rating what you have here, it's no better than a 3 and, frankly, that's being rather generous. But, since you stated it's a prototype and I would rate it a 1 or 2 as it is, I'll just not leave a rating and leave my (hopefully constructive) comments.

Developer response from PeachTreeOath

Thanks for the feedback! Pacing is definitely something I'm paying close attention to so your comments help me gauge it. It's possible you're looking for more active gameplay because I did intentionally shift the focus from core fishing gameplay to upgrades and metasystems, as I personally find fishing minigames to get old after a while. I think there are other ways to help my current gameplay have some more juice and interaction but you're right, the prototype won't be able to display that stuff. Appreciate you being open-minded and I'll certainly take it into consideration.

I've played this for awhile now...it's terribly flawed. There's SO much stuff flying around the screen, it's nearly impossible to see what's coming at you. Not only do bullets fly at you, but green and blue aura balls too? Horrible UI/UX design. Also, the instructions are stupendously idiotic. "Fly for at least 600 yards in one run..." except they mean, IN A ROW! Pretty big miss there, guys. Also, it's just a stupid, long grind. 1/5

The trade concept in this game was invented for what eventually became an idle game...the huge problem is that it's not an idle game. So, you're actually having to perform the mundanity that idle games do for you automatically.

This is like 0.6 version, I'm waiting for the completed version. The indicators of what's selling for high/low prices on towns is wrong at least 20% of the time. I just was forced to attack a town that I didn't click on, but rather a ship that was generally in the same vicinity - brutal bug that cost me starting from scratch. Coming back from losing a ship or several is horrificly grindy. The ship upgrade mechanism is poorly conceived. And upgrading ships that you're going to eventually sell is asinine, why would I? Only to continue the grind. Decent start, good high level concepts, but needs a lot more thought. 2/5

I find it incredibly strange that you can't call reinforcements until after a wave is over. The battle ui is sub-optimal, having to click on individual small characters to perform some special tricks. The computer is far too overpowered, I'm on level 4 and I can't make it through stage 3 - must be formulaic. A fine start, although not terribly original, done in with suspect controls and an OP computer. 2/5

Unique concept, flawed implementation without a category. Shapes can be drawn in many ways, symbols the same and are we assuming Arial font for numbers and letters. If they were all alphanumeric, I would have given it a pass, but it would probably be too easy. But without a category, level 33's answer looks like many different things, the actual answer is one of the last I would suggest it looks like. A point for originality, -3 for implementation and lack of any advanced features. 2/5
