I had "triumph" on 12 of 14 levels, now on level 15 I can't win. I make matches so fast that I have to wait for the computer. Something is deeply flawed with the difficulty mechanics beyond just what everyone else pointed out. Also, the UI decisions made were extremely poor. Many times a "reward" covers up the board for more than a second preventing you from making or seeing matches. And then having to drag and drop rewards in the form of archers, mages and soldiers is beyond asinine. Not a bad concept, but a deeply flawed implementation. 2/5
So, the three dimensional aspect is screwy: he can hit me as I stand at one depth of the plane, but I can't hit him. The control metaphor is overly complex. And the bosses take far too long (OP). Not a terrible game, but not a good game either. 2/5
The shooting mechanics in the early game is terrible. More than half the time I'm auto-shooting and don't want to be shooting or wanting to shoot, but waiting. Really, really bad. Kinda' ruins the game. Maybe their lack of imagination on creating a skillful game was to limit the natural abilities of the character? If so, 0/5. If not 2/5. I'll split the difference.
The map UI doesn't make any sense in this game - It is not intuitive as to what I'm supposed to click on, what's good vs. bad, what's next, what to do. Really really bad.
"slog" is its middle name. 5 waves per level? too much. multiple repeats of levels to upgrade? too much. over 50 hits to kill the bat in level 2? too much. these guys liked their game more than they should have.
Absolutely horrific. My character is naked, I've played for 20 minutes have gotten nothing to make him any better and you have to play for 5-7 levels to make any meaningful progress - oh and by the way, on level 7, you face someone literally 3x stronger than you. 1/5 and it doesn't deserve the 1.
Not a difficult game, but a couple of things I don't appreciate. My weapon is weak at the beginning and I have to rely on RNG to get a weapon that shoots sideways, which is an absolute critical part of the game. That's bad design. Leveling up my ship seemed to mean nothing except for passing some linear levels? Incongruous and a bad idea. I finished the game without even close to being fully enhanced - i.e. things are far too expensive. And, finally, the physics are wrong - I am hit by enemy lasers at what seems like a radius larger than I am, yet I am literally a few pixels in to touching a power-up and I don't get it. For an old school, easy-to-develop shooter, I'd expect a lot more. 1/5
While there are many bad parts to this game - how boring it is, how unoriginal it is and how money-grabbing it is. The worst part is that the town level-up indicator, which is not linear. The bar fills up significantly faster EARLIER in the leveling-up process than it does at the end, even though at the end you're making significantly more money because of upgrades. On level 2 I woke up with about 25% of the bar filled up. With many upgrades performed, I haven't filled another 25% in two combined nights. This is a "math" game that has absolutely no idea how to do math. It doesn't deserve the 1 in the following rating: 1/5
I just don't really "get" it. Like JoeDeath said, it's like an idle game with tons of asinine clicking. But with the ability to lose your idle-bility. 2/5 because I got an easy badge.
This is atrocious - 90% of what I want to ask it, it doesn't understand. And the few directions it does provide lead you to a restart of what is already an arduous, idiotic game. This IS the worst game I've played in a long time - and I say that about almost every other game I play on Kongregate.
The game has really good graphics and a solid foundation, but deeply flawed. I've been playing for 10-15 minutes, and I'm still being constantly directed. I feel like I should get another bachelor's degree for sticking around. Too much complexity thrown at us from the beginning.

90 seconds in, I'm still not playing. Terrible start. My kids play games with me, I don't need cursing. The 3D graphics are a notch above. The dialog is utter crap. Developers, you're not being clever writing a game where the characters speak like they're in middle school. And, for the love of mike, WAY too much dialog. It's a game, not a novella. The story is just nonsensical, too long and the puzzles are lame and simplistic. Good start to a game, but a long way to go.
@Corloc, agree that it's asinine. You have to go through the OTHER door (you have to destroy the three crates on level 19 which will drop the other gate from the ceiling). Cutesy, have-to-figure-out-crap stuff like that is a real turn off. Also, having to re-do the level a 2nd time is a turn off. 2/5, generously.
So I played for 24 hours and "sold" everything and all I got was a happiness x 2 bonus, it seems. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Not original, very little strategy and lots of waiting around. 1/5
The graphics are so poor I didn't realize I had to kill the bunny (the guy holding the bunny), and the fact that you have to "race" to kill the guy holding the bunny before he goes in to the portal on the pre-level 20 is somewhat asinine, especially since the buttons don't work until the level is loaded. Oh, and my badges didn't work. 2/5
