The developers are watching this game like a hawk, my negative comment (the first in 2 weeks) gets 4 negative ratings in 1 night. Why don't you fix the game instead of disingenuously trying to remove ratings?
I should be playing campaign level 1 on easy and having trouble a) understanding what's happening and b) playing against a computer who is playing 2 CARDS at a time when I can barely play 1 at a time and then, in that same turn, gets to use those cards to eliminate my card. EVERY time I attack, I am being retaliated against, EVERY time I try to remove one of their cards another card steps in who just happens to have an extra hard to absorb the damage. This is a REALLY flawed game - negative rate me all you want. And all of these upvotes are merely lies. This is a very nuanced game for a small percentage of Kongregate users.
This is absolutely atrocious. On easy, the computer is playing 2x more cards than me. And, once he has cards out there, there's NOTHING you can do to prevent. This is the stupidest "strategy" game I've played on Kongregate. Just awful 1/5
I have absolutely no idea what's happening and don't care to find out. 90% of the cards say, "draw a card." There's no indication of how to do damage, the gameplay is nonsensical. And the fact that you scroll over a card and it "rolls out" from the left, but then you move your mouse a little to the right or click on it and it shrinks again is just horrific UI. I just want the easy badge, I'll happily leave my 1/5 start rating for it.
So, going through trying to get the old easiest badges - the controls don't work to move your character in Safari or Firefox (and without an ad block, it's terribly laggy) and in Chrome the kills reads: "nan". This pile of garbage has gotten even worse. 3/14/2020
So, you can only shoot in the same direction that you can move. You can not backup and shoot forward? Was this game made in 1971? I think Pong was more sophisticated....1/5
And another thing - he has 6 mana and he's playing 3 cards, the equivalent on my side are 3-4 mana each. I'm done commenting - I wish Kongregate would let you EDIT a comment - but, I guess when it's not 2006 anymore they'll figure out how to add that feature to their interface.
Now I'm ANGRY. My cards are disappearing after attacking. I poisoned the card, I attacked and not only was my poison worthless because I killed him with my attack, I lost myself? And I'm on level 6 and he's playing cards with 18 attack or something. This is TERRIBLE. I just want my easy badge, I'll leave my 1/5
Hello! I'm sorry to read that you couldn't get through the first levels, we created those levels so players could easily defeat them but we'll review them to see exactly why you couldn't complete them so we can improve the game. I hope you give the game another try!
Additionally, it doesn't make any sense - I play a 2 mana card and it removes 3 mana...it also seems like it has added a max mana for my next turn? There's just so much "hidden" happening, I have no idea what's going on and I'm not going to read a tutorial to find out what should be obvious. 2/5
Another card game, just what Kongregate needed. This one is interesting in that I have no idea why after I attack my cards disappear about 30%-50% of the time. Generally, there's nothing unique about this, the gameplay, while not slow, is not nearly fast enough. Didn't captivate me, but I'm feeling generous so 3/5.
You know that feeling of satisfaction when you beat a game and achieve a goal? Yeah, there's none of that with this P.O.S. I hate this game...and I got the badge. A string of expletives should not follow a victory...but this game brings it out of ya'. Brutal.
"Range heroes can only attack 5 squares away..." That's not true. The "strategy" is a little suspect in this one. I knew it was gonna' be rough when I saw the comments about AI being faulty. 3/5 (I must be feeling generous)
Like the actual gameplay itself, the game is far too linear. There's very little you can do with cards, you don't get new ones frequently enough. Once they're set, there's not a heckuva lot to change. Doesn't seem like there's more than just nuanced strategy. And then, if you get stuck, there's no way to grind yourself to getting a stronger character - you need RNG to move on. Not a bad game, but feels incomplete. 3/5 (would have liked to have given it a 4...)
Arduous. I'm sure there's some sort of strategy to employ, but having to click 20-30 times per round makes it a fool's errand to try and figure it out. Made it through the tutorial, bored, and not even close to finishing round 2. 1/5
The build and then move metaphor is really bad - it's just not natural to create with one click and then to click and drag n' drop to move them. Also, there's a bug with respect to the enemy mages - they're "jumping" the last 10% of the distance to me. Far too slow paced. On level 2, a veteran group of soldiers and archers cannot eliminate a single group of mages - the difficulty is poorly configured. Finally, the AI is awful - trying to drag with any level of precision to move your troops is impossible and yet if you drop them on a building, they'll continue to attack the building as they're being stabbed in the back. Graphics are solid, at least. Generally though, a huge miss. 2/5
