The malevolence engine cannot check for all possible solutions (because that would take forever) so it checks the algorithm instead. BUT if the malevolence engine can already detect whether your algorithm is correct or not, then it knows how to write the algorithm. Conclusion: The malevolence engine is a lazy bastard who is doing this to waste our time. But this waste of time was so totally worth it. 5/5
Me: An impossible badge for 1010 coins? Pffft. I did Clean Runs on Meat Boy. What could possibly go wrong? Me five minutes later: You bastard, me five minutes ago. You had to jinx the badge, didn't you?
For the 60-pointer: In the final Arena battle, do NOT injure the Zoul until you have defeated the Captain and the Engineer, or the Zoul will overpower you. For survival, restart instantly if you get hit in Zones 1 or 2. Hold back when you reach the jump point and you get a free 10 metres (you’ll need it, trust me). Charge into normals, dagger all elites (dagger Elite Knights when they swing for you). No enemy can attack up, so try and stomp down on enemies when attacking. The Elite Spearmen can attack down – if they do, attack head on if you can, otherwise avoid. Throw a dagger before jumping for high ground – every ground enemy counts. You’ll want combos of at least x20 in most zones, and x50 combos on harder zones for any hope of a loot badge, and Zone 10 for distance. However, prioritize survival and use daggers for hard parts. Finally, survival and challenges are mainly memorization of what parts to expect in each zone – practice makes perfect. + so everyone can see!
Hey, SoulGame, any chance you could actually make coins count in the challenges? It's kind of annoying to do challenges and not have anything to show for it except a couple of stars.
Say whatever you want Greg. Considering most impossible badges are only awarded 6,000 times each on average, this badge is as impossible as impossible gets.
That third badge... should be an impossible badge. Seriously, the real best I could get to was 300,000. + if you agree the hard badge should be moved down to 300,000.
Since every milestone adds on ten seconds or so, as long as you keep your combos going on at least one prefix/suffix, you should be able to add on more time than one minute. When I did a 10,000 meter run, I was able to extend the time to about 1:40 by using the suffix -ing and by seeing if the first prefix could create a verb. In the end, -ing got me about a 20x combo.
