Starting this game, it was a solid 3.5, even without any instructions (which is a terrible sin). By the 3rd level, that had dropped to a 2. By the end of the game, I was desperately wishing I could give a rating lower than 1 star.
Little disappointed. Loved the game, absolutely wonderful. But, I mean... I got 100% and dealt with the cat. And nothing. No hidden door opened. No balloons fell from the sky. Not even a YOU'RE WINNER type announcement. I just thought there would be some acknowledgement after the cat.
I don't understand how to play this game. My wheels fall off every time I hit anything, and then I can't move. How do I get the wheels to not fall off at the slightest touch?
Tip for the easy badge, so you don't have to play this game any longer than necessary: get the Blades power up near the end of the 1st level, upgrade your Blade ability at the Evo screen, kill the Seekers in Level 2 with your blades. Once you finish the level and return to the Evo screen, click "Start a new game" and repeat the process. 5 minutes, you're done, and you don't have to bother with this mess of a game anymore.
I will most definitely be using this on a daily basis. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Honestly, this is a feature Kong should have natively, but since they don't... THANK YOU!
Fun little bug I just found (not sure if it's been noticed before): If you jump and hit sleep while you're in the air, you fall asleep at whatever height your jump was at. When you stop sleeping, you stay at this height. You can repeat this several times to the point that you're above all enemies and can't be harmed, but the enemies will continue to congregate under you and can be picked off from there. Shopkeepers apparently have no problem selling you stuff while you're in mid-air. Can't repair your balloon though. And it gets pretty boring after the novelty wears off.
Love seeing a jmtb02 game as BotD. I've already earned basically all the badges in his games, but I'll sit down and play them through again at the drop of a hat. Unlike, say, a certain Papa's sorry excuses for games.
