Agree with the other comments on the fifth boss. The game is amusing enough, but you really need to fix that bug or make it clearer what the player has to do. 4/5 for what's a great typing speed driller -1 for the bug = 3/5.

Let's see. Poor graphics, poor controls, poor game-play, poor music, poor bug-proofing, poor difficulty scaling, no story, no sense. Is there a redeeming feature I missed? This sort of game, and Kongregate's occasional need to dignify them with badges/cards, is the reason that How to Kongregate exists. 1/5, only because I can't rate it lower.

Are you freakin' KIDDING me? 1/5. 0/5. Negative 3/5. Worthy of nothing but scorn. I used to help run computer camps for 12-year-olds. This is the sort of game one of the kids would make and that the counselors would get together and make fun of after the session is over. 1/5, only because I can't rate it lower.

It's a great concept and implemented pretty well, but the controls make it much harder than it should be, and after a while, it devolves to much more luck required than skill in order to beat the levels. The game is also -- ironically -- too long. You're swearing at the thing long before you get close to the end. 3/5.

I decided. 3/5. Normal mode is just too hard. I can't even imagine what the 150% mode would be like. Even with good tactics, you get killed way too much.

Both better and worse than the original. The interface is improved, particularly the ability to instantly jump around the map once it's explored. The shop is an interesting addition, and the new creatures are fine. The worse: the game is much harder than the original, and the shop adds a level of logistics and annoyingness to the proceedings since you have to keep track of what you're keeping, what you're selling, etc. Make it possible to adjust inventory while in the shop! That would improve it. There's no question that the same creatures are a lot tougher in this iteration, which makes it more frustrating. 3/5? 4/5? Haven't decided.

Good idea that nevertheless still sucks. I hate twitch avoiders, even when they're combined with shooters, particularly when you can't exert any kind of decent control over what you're shooting at. 2/5.

It's a cute little shooter, but not particularly original. Also seems to be completely random when you run into the boss, you aren't told that you've reached the boss, and you aren't rewarded with a score or a time or anything when you beat the boss... or are even told that you've done so. If you miss this highly anti-climactic battle, you could end up continuing to play endlessly for no good reason... Games should have an end, you know? Still, it's cute and fun for a bit. 3/5.

Proof that you don't need an art degree to write a great game. The concept is wonderful, the implementation is great, and the game-play is near-perfect. There are a few too many controls, which makes moving and firing a tiny bit challenging. There should also have been green hills or something that the player could use as cover from some of the guns. But these are really very minor points. This game is fun as hell, well-written, and just challenging enough that you have to work at it. Bravo! I look forward to the sequel. 5/5.

This game has too many problems to list just one. Small screen, hard to control, only two units are worth a damn (cruisers, repair drones), too easy to gain ore in mission mode, bad scrolling, occasional lag, dumb-ass AI and path-finding... the list is endless. The idea is cute, but the implementation is awful. And no, I'm not bad at the game, I've got both badges and the card. This game just sucks. 2/5.

Very relaxing and fun! A bit easier than the first one, but much prettier than the first one, too! Well done! 4/5.

Complete agreement with alexmarcy. This is a fun game, though one I've seen the concept for in a couple of other games. However, implementation and game play in this one is superior to others that I've seen of this type, the graphics are fun, the sounds are fun, and the various permutations are fresh and original. However, the game is quite glitchy in terms of past iterations of yourself. You can stand completely back ignoring other iterations of yourself and still somehow modify their courses through the level. Not sure why that is. Still, it's a minor glitch and doesn't really prevent you from completing levels. So, a 5/5 game -1 for glitches = 4/5. Nice job!

Great game, but I found a bug: ammo disappears based on a timer that is not subject to system speed. As a result, if you play this game on a slower system, you are severely disadvantaging yourself because you won't be able to reach all the ammo in time when it drops. The game is also a little bit inconsistent: you can shoot through the field, clearly killing four things, and sometimes get credit for killing two, and sometimes credit for killing six. But the concept is fine and the game is fun. Call it 4/5 -1 for bugs = 3/5.

Pretty good game! Definitely old-school, but the graphics are perfect and the controls are also very good. The difficulty ramps very well, and all of the challenges here on Kongregate are quite achievable with the right timing and a little patience. I didn't notice the lag problem, but I'm playing the game on a fast computer, so that probably had a lot to do with it. Overall, a winner! 4/5.

Interesting game! Original and challenging with a good premise. Rules are easy to understand, and there are a lot of potential strategies. The difficulty seems to ramp a little too quickly, but other than that, it's a good game. 4/5.
